This video doesn't serve the truth but the American interests in the region. If you studied and learnt about the Golden Triangle, you know that it is not a one-man band. It’s controlled, also, by the military in Myanmar and Thailand. However, this fact is omitted in this video. Why? 🤔

Myanmar doesn't control its northern territory. it's an active civil war, read a book.

Isn’t it obvious by its constant emphasis on Chinese? When the whole incident didn’t happen in China nor directed by anyone physically in China. The story did not even have a Chinese victim, but Chinese government gets blamed for the crime. US media just hates China.

Inability of Westerners to understand cultures is what makes them assume that someone has power. Africans and Asians have something in common - giving respect even to the point of servitude to someone who has achieved success or is older than them. You may think the person has power, but he really doesn't. He is just living off of the power wilfully extended to him by people cause of his success.

Sending in a small handful men to take the target out or kidnap them and bring them somewhere they can in-force their law.. the reason they haven’t done anything is, either they been doing very well fattening their pockets with on point bribes. Or he just not as important to them but the only reason they’re speaking on him is for the public..

This is an idiotic, over simplified report on a very diverse and complex region. It’s a region on the borders of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand, yet China is constantly mentioned as if China sponsors these drug traffickers. And the most idiotic statement of all : “if China wants to, it could put a stop to this” - is the GT in China? No, so why lay the burden of stopping it on China? Shouldn’t Myanmar, Laos and Thailand do all they can to stop it? And the most ironic thing of all is that the Chinese in the GT are from the same political party as those on Taiwan - the Nationalists who lost mainland China to the Communists. Maybe the government on Taiwan should do something about the GT problem. Yet, at no time, does this reporter say anything about where these GT Chinese came from nor that they are affiliated with the Taiwan Nationalists, who were the enemies of the Chinese Communists.

The human condition of greed, love of money and power would prevent anything close to this. The only time a multi-millionaire or billionaire gets angry about drugs is when they have to wait more than a half hour for them to be delivered for their personal use or when their daughter gets addicted, runs away to Kensington, Philadelphia and starts prostituting herself.
