Finally someone playing flubs right, I see so many people holding off on playing him early because they're scared of the discard. If you don't he's way too slow to get going, people need to trust you'll pull into more good options.

That turn 3 play of playing the bird sacing it to ramp one land was so bad.. dude paid 4 mana for a cultivate effect. Must have been desperate

The sacrifice isn't an additional cost, it's an alternate cost. He paid one mana for a Cultivate effect Even if not, I would still be happy paying one extra for a Cultivate early in the game, most of the time
