You returned to magic on what could possibly one of its best moments (game and card design wise), the cards from blumburrow have a lot of mechanics and creature types that sinergize with the previous sets very well, I can't wait to have all my cute creatures decimated by a sea of removal

Something you missed with iridescent vinelasher is it triggers crimes on landfall which is pretty big on a one drop since the archetype has very limited ways of triggering crimes for free/before combat

Don't worry too much about the length of these videos. You are averaging around 2-3 minutes per card, which is reasonable. Love what you do.

I think the chain is iridescent vinestalker, into GeV, into thought-stalker warlock. The landfall trigger will proc the 1 ping and GeV will pump the Thought-stalker to a 3/3

Have you tried insidious roots as a control tech yet? Using tokens to cast free deadly cover ups, also cruelty of gix and gix's command are other noteworthy topends at 5 mana along with the bat god himself. Its surprisingly effective. Looking forward to seeing how roots does this patch with farewell leaving the table

You def need to make vinelasher work with some ramp and deserts. Maha + Massacre girl + 3 CMC - x/-x boardwipes is value. Lord Skitter and the eldraine package of cheap enchants and token generation enables Rottenmouth Viper pretty well

With the Consumed by Greed gift, it's...definitely a weird one. The creature you're returning has to be more valuable than the average draw for your opponent's deck, but also cheap enough that you'd want to run this over a reanimator effect. I guess if you're going discard heavy and plan on ditching the gifted card immediately? I love the gift on Cruelclaw's Heist, since it avoids the discard strat "problem" of the opponent not having anything left to discard.

You see iridescent vinelasher ?? you want me to tell you what deck to make with it ?? 1) Obnixilis kingping because we love the ping Or if you feel especially special : 2) a deck that I will call Pitiless analyst : combo pitiless carnage with aftermath analyst : you sac your lands to pitiless carnage to draw bunch of cardsthen bring them all back with analyst and trigger ton of effects (surveil/deserts) and keep looping this. I think temur combo might get replaced by a more midrange less combo version that would be like that

I just had a really stupid idea, but what if we do a high noon (can only play 1 spell per turn) gift deck ?? Mostly UW control/tempo like (with a few flash creatures like the one that exile a spell and makes it plotted or the bodyguard etc) Who cares if you gift cards to your opponent if they can only use 1 per turn ?? xD

That's literally most cards in every color of every set. Intentionally so. Mtg sets are designed with drafting in mind and most of the commons in those sets are designed for the limited environment. This is well known and documented.
