A bit late to the party although I've listened to this album since it came out, but Key-word is not very Engrish. Her pronunciation is honestly very good. My gf doesn't know my KZbin account, so I'm safe saying that her pronunciation is better than my gf, although hers is pretty decent. She's Japanese as well, but she sometimes fumbles lol
One of my favorite albums, there needs to be more swing-styled Touhou arrangements

from what i know, this album is a side project of a member from undead corporation, a metal band. completely unrelated, unlucky morpheus, another metal band which i think is an affiliate(or friend?) of undead corporation also does excellent jazzy-sounding songs that they call acoustics version of their own touhou songs, that i like very much too, live and recorded versions now i think to myself, with how little bands i listen to, is it pure luck that i got to enjoy metal and jazz at the same time from the same people, or is it that metal people(at least from touhou doujin music) just have the same talent to make jazz jazz
@maxer31283 жыл бұрын
this style suits them better. Shame they didnt make similar albums like this.

I'm shocked I finally found that Shanghai Scarlet Teahouse ~ Chinese Tea song and wondering where it came from originally First heard of it back in 2014 from a now deleted video I was amazed how beautiful it sounded and thought it was gone forever And now after 6 years later I finally found it and this time from the original touhou arrangement album it came from I really love these swing style arrangement of these touhou song They're really good like that other album called "swing holic" Really like these and have been listening to alot of those swing jazz style touhou music since that Chinese Tea song That album cover art.... Yes that's obviously NYC, somewhere around Manhattan, just needed to find the spot XD I think I'm a have to update on that whenever I have the time to find that location where that album cover art was taken I'm not ashamed to admit that I hear these swing style touhou song couple of time whenever I visit Manhattan XD (I just looked up the album release date, came out in May 26, 2013......) God.....I was 16 when it came out ^^: Time flies so fast XD

Too bad they only released a single album. time flies by and he's 7 years old ... but at that time it was something different from what he had been hearing from the touhou world and especially from jazz-toho that's why many people liked it

@@blopadhd2556 UPDATE: sorry if it took soo long but i think i have found the area where the album cover came from it has to be somewhere around bryant park in NYC I could be wrong but i have to keep searching until i find the exact spot in Manhattan XD also i wonder is there a way to buy the physical album XD have a scary feeling its pretty hard to find now and day with other swing holic album going for high prices lately xp

@@AceyMari Hey I know I'm four years late to the party but I think I'm fairly certain where this album cover took place. I've had a similar thought on finding where the cover was taken when I first saw the album cover but I never really bothered with it until I stumbled upon your comment when revisiting this album. I'm fairly certain that this was taken in Grand Army Plaza (Fifth Avenue & 59th) rather than Bryant Park. Thankfully vgmdb has a higher quality album cover art that allowed me to see a bit better. As for my reasoning behind this 1) The Ed Koch Queensboro sign underneath the word TOHO. Since its on the left and pointing to the left, we're most likely facing downtown or towards the west somewhere near the bridge. 2) The bus stop sign with the arrow on Satori's left says M1. Additionally the bus info on Satori's right says M02. M1/M2 bus routes stayed relatively the same between 2013 and now. This narrows it down to somewhere along 5th Avenue. Since its along 5th Avenue, we can narrow it down even further towards 58th/59th since those two are the last turn towards the bridge as well as the first street after central park where you can see buildings on the right. Now if we cross reference the address on Google Maps, it starts to add up. The picture is zoomed in a bit so use Fifth Avenue & 58th on Google Maps as well as different street view dates to verify what I'm saying 3) The building to the left of the word TOHO is nearly identical to the one you'd see of the Bergdorf Goodmon store on the left 4) The building to the top right of the letter g in "Swing" is similar to the Pennisula New York with the circular thingies on the side. Also the blackish building next to it also resembles the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church with its pointy structure 5) The building to the right of Satori near the 1 in "Jazzy Vocal I" has a double ring pattern. This is definitely part of the logo for the Bergdorf Goodman store with the part underneath resembling the window display of the store I mentioned earlier that the picture is zoomed in a bit. If we take this into account as well as the M1 bus stop sign, Grand Army Plaza just seems like the most likely place the picture was taken.
