Such a beautiful stitch pattern that can be used for so many things. I'm using a Caron Cotton cake and I'm making a simple summer pop over to wear over a tank top. I’m intrigued with the first stitch on each row giving height of a double crochet. I’ve crocheted for years and I have never seen this stitch done! Does it have a name? I switched from the chain to the turning stitch very early on because there are no gaps that a chain leaves and it makes adding a border much easier
