Thank You. Yes we need you. You are a Joy in more ways then you know. Told you earlier, it might take me a while but I have front and back bodice perfected am looking forward to the sleeves and neck lines. I hope some time this week to be ready for proper top. Like you am busy with house renovations. We are 65 and 71 and have decided to gut out kitchen and redo it ourselves. Like you and your husband we are old school and miss the work ethics of when we were working. Folks today just don't seem to have the work ethics we did. Sad. Thank you again.

I don’t believe I have watched anyone make their blueprint but Glenda. I was excited to see how others use the system...and was not disappointed in any way! I never thought of doing sleeve last...now that is a headache saver.

I have watched all 4 videos and really learned a lot. I am just finished watching video number 2. Again thank you for all your hard work and time doing this. I hope and pray that you and Jerry can get all your house repairs and fixing your house up done and hopefully soon go to Texas and have sometime to just rest and relax. I can’t wait to see the new blouse you make from your pattern. Oh and keep us newbies in your prayers cause we need all the prayers we can get.

I love that striped blouse you're wearing at the beginning of this video. I'm late to the game... would like to know where to find that pattern.

I have been watching and learning from you for years. I am aware that this is a WOVEN pattern...have you ever tried to adjust it for a knit top? You and I have very similar measurements and i was just wandering if you’ve tried it. I will try but I’m just looking for a head start!?!?!? Thanks for all the time you’ve put into this....you do a great job. Informative but FUN!!

I'm so excited Joy I just ordered my Reg Dress Combo Kit...and I used the code you mentioned and that helped alot😊 I saved and watched videos 1-3 next video 4. Because I just ordered the kit I can go back and review them again. I'm a visual learner and love puzzles so I'm confident I can do this. Thank YOU for teaching me Joy❤

Do you finish the back neck with a bias strip strip or do you draft a back facing from the back pattern piece? TY - Great video watched them all and ordered my kit --its in the mail!

Hi joy can you tell me if you already had the seam allowance on the centre front, then added the button placket and then the facing. Or don’t you need seam allowance just the button placket then the facing. Thank You.

I assume the back neckline has a 2-1/2 inch wide facing too that gets sewn to the shoulder seam of the front facing?
@teacherlouisiana4 жыл бұрын
Do you think we need to add 5/8 inch to sew the facing front and back?

I think you mentioned your shoulders were not the same. I have a lower shoulder that I have to pinch about 1/2" from seam to neckline then redraw the armcye. How and when would you do the adjustment with your Blueprint then pattern easy method?

Hi Joy , thank you for the tutorials. I got my Dresskit yesterday and done my blueprint. On page 47 (6th edition)next to the heading Garment Choice , is a blouse with pleats on the shoulder end , how can we get to make this style?

Joy, I believe my email is not acting right. I have attempted to email you a couple of times and I believe problem is on my end. Anyway before I proceed with my problem and mess it up I need your expertise. My back pattern piece lacks reaching my center back by about 1 and 7/8 inches. Like a big dummy I wasn’t thinking and did round back and sway back adjustment. Can I just cut straight down pattern using my grain line to measure out and move cut piece out and insert piece of paper to add required amount of inches. I know I will also have to measure strip of pattern I cut to get correct amount. Also would I need to do anything to neckline or just extend the seam lines out? Front looks great and so does my sleeve.
