Another LS Swapped Mustang, but not like others! My buddy Mike picked up this new ride. He and Joey are making some final adjustments getting it ready for the track. Blow through Carb, LS 6.0. This procharged LS engine should run great. They hope to make some shake down passes this week, so hopefully we will see some great passes soon! This is their first carb, blow through so I came over to look it over and do a little tweaking. Got gas on my hands again, lol. Just when I think my blow thru days are over one of my buddies gets one. lol

Another good video! I’m going through your archives. I’m in NY so most everything is closed and I’m working from home. Tracks are closed and my car is on jack stands until they reopen so this helps as my fix.

I remember when I first learned O2’s don’t read I unburnt fuel. It kinda blew my mind at first. Then he explained it to me about how they only read oxygen levels. And it all clicked. Lol my younger mind was blown.

That o2 sensor has fooled a lot i'm sure. And the bad thing, even in closed loop with efi, if it does it the ECU does the opposite of what it needs to do. That is why it is important to read the plugs and look at everything, not just o2 readings.

Best of luck with the carb. Been there, done that, never happy with it. Had a Quickfuel and C&S carb for blow through setup with ProCharger, could never get it to be perfect at all RPM ranges....always a stutter someplace. Maybe a full drag car, at wide open throttle you won’t mind, but a street car gets annoying. Then resetting again in the heat of the summer.....gets to be old Swapped for a blow through FI setup, never been happier. Haven’t touched it since it’s been set up. Either way, best of luck ....

Instead of buying a bunch of 6.0 stock short blocks he should've just bought one good forged bottom end and you send the Carb to AED and tell them what you want done and they will do it and send it back to you I've lived a stones throw away from AED all my life and that's what they specialize in is carburetors but they are a full speed shop and have and will sell anything and everything you could want or need and after they rebuild your carburetor they dyno tune it and send it back and they have an onsite engine dyno and chassis dyno

I got ken jones to do mine of course he has built me a few john I bought all the stuff to go efi I barley can turn on a computer yes I am still analog maybe one day but for now I am just trying to stick with what i know

Well I had .mechanical injection pushed a head gasket torched a head on a set of dart rs 18 degree heads got a little sick my poppet didnt open on the high side it went way lean 1.08 sixty shut off at 330 went 5 20 at 102 It's a hot rod for sure
