So a few ppl see the expansion side of things and like “that’s not real sampling, you’re already using someone’s music”. That’s what sampling is… using something and re-envisioning it. There are lots of sounds in all the MPC and expansions that help you get that to the idea in your head quicker. Yall gotta stop looking at this as just premade beats. It’s no different than using an amen break. Great video btw Ave! Simple and to the point

I do my own sampling, and don't need premade beats....I think these kits are for a different demographic that wants easy convenience with all the work 80% done, originality killer and they don't get to listen all the great music already made through the decades diggin through crates...its sad man, the craft is dying

The craft is dying because people decide to use a different type of premade music than the premade music to make music lmao, you may find that getting your head out of your ass might help you in not seeing everything as shitty. And before you reply with y'all people premade answer "go back to X" I don't use packs or splice or whatever, not because I think it's wrong but because I like to sample or play instruments, however no craft is dying, it's one of thr best periods for hip hop and dope shit coming out everyday. You're just bitter, one of those sad "real hip hop" guys who acts holier than people who actually care for reason deeper than being on a bandwagon just to feel part of anything at all.
