BLOWN ENGINE? How much will this cost? Explorer ST

Well so many have said, there's no replacement for displacement, that these things couldn't beat hellcat's even with 4 turbo's and that if you push them to their limit they will pop!

Well this is starting to make some sense now. Last couple videos I watched you were tuned running 13.3s and I’ve achieved a 13.3 stock on my local strip so I had a hunch something was up with this ST. Now to watch the rest of the videos and get caught up 😏

Yeah, I should have cleaned the injectors before putting them in, but I came close to doing some serious damage to the engine, I may have already, because one cylinder was a little down on compression. I'll do an update on this video when I go to the bigger turbos. Basically, two injectors were bad, and I may have gotten material in them. Not sure. Either way, I have a plan to make sure that doesn't happen again.

If you watched the video, it was not the tune that caused the failure. As for the other failures, those can be chocked up to oil pressure issues, not tuning.

any chance of you making a video on removing and installing new spark plugs? To include the tools used.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqLGipuqpt1robc Its not a full how to, but I do talk about the spark plug removal. It's a 5/8 spark plug socket and a medium and short extension. The medium extension is just long enough to sit flush with the to of the spark plug tube, as it is hard to pull out. You'll need an 8mm deap socket to remove the coils.

@@JamesValentineBaja1000 had to go back to stock injectors. Since then I tried the injectors again, but something is off. Probably the injector driver.

@sloexplorerst4511 if they don't watch the whole video to find out what the issue is, sure. This was a serious issue! If the car kept overfueling, I would have destroyed the engine, I even noticed something on the spark plug that wasn't good. It's important to watch for these things, and it's not worth not talking about. I'm in contact with Adam. I don't call people out. Again, I'm sorry you were unhappy, but this was extremely serious, and I wanted ppl to make sure they pay attention with their vehicle. You don't want to wreck your car.
