Blown Out 2014 Ford Raptor 1st Gen Fox Shocks w 90k Miles???? & TSW Shock Rebuild Exchange

Hey All - I Bought a 14' Raptor awhile back and knew the shocks weren't great but didn't realize how bad they were. Also wanted to explain the TSW rebuild exchange program for them. Was very simply and easy.

It's going to be significantly longer than the website claims for exchange. I ordered on the first of June and still not shipped yet. At the time, they stated 2-3 weeks. turnaround. I had to call them to get an update and added 3 more weeks to which they still haven't shipped so who knows. Friendly customer service but no follow ups or through in my case. I'll be calling again today...

My process was fairly quick to get the shocks, within a couple weeks. Took a bit longer to get my refund for sending mine in. Called a couple times to get updates on that. Overall had a good experience. Customer service was always helpful when I called to follow up.

Great video. Did you go to mid perch? I want the most comfortable ride possible on rebuild. Not sure if mid perch makes a big difference in comfort.

Appreciate it! Yes, I went to mid perch. I can’t speak to a comparison of mid vs stock on the 1st gen specifically since mine had a spacer kit before and the shocks were terrible when I got it. After the rebuild I personally thought mid perch was pretty smooth but I also don’t like how stock feels on typical trucks these days.

Cheaper to buy new shocks ...and got them in less than a week. ($350 ea.) TSW wants $100‐$150 more per shock.
