Nirvana was the first group whose music I learned on guitar and to sing! These songs are fun to play and just rock out to with friends. It's funny how some of Kurt's riffs had an almost black metal quality to them, with the high, ringing, dissonant notes, and minor chord progressions, like Big Long Now or Aerozeppelin. Maybe just coincidence? I guess he was listening to some Celtic Frost though, and he did also like Black Sabbath, which obviously without them, black metal, and so many other metal genres, could never have come into being.
@nvsoliveira4 жыл бұрын
David Grohl said once that was a Celtic Frost/Smithreens tape stuck in their van audio. He said that maybe Nevermind being so sweet/heavy has something to do with that.
