The turbo itself acts as a muffler in and of itself. That is why people run straight exhausts with turbos and it isn't really any louder than an na or blown car running straight piped into mufflers its kind of similar volume wise its like the turbo restricts the noise about as much as traditional high flow mufflers do. It is kind of cool.

I'm a big fan of the 10 series muffler they are compact which is ideal for fitment in tight areas and the growl from them is great and paired with a good x or h pipe to tune for what you're looking for sound wise they blow all those big gaudy 40 series mufflers out of the water. Currently I am running the MAC pro chamber 3 inch turn downs pre axle with a H pipe and man is that my favorite combo to date on a modified fox....its brings it all together like that bassist in a 3 piece band!!........you're gonna love those turn downs I didnt think I would like them but I beats the hell out of those wonky tailpipes that lead up over the axle and tuck behind the bumper. The sounds with those turn downs really define any cam and the idle is probably the best bang for the buck

That comment was awesome about gettin shit done, I flux welded up my Kenny Brown Matrix brace subframe kit with some jack stands and a creeper on my garage floor and I'm a terrible welder. You only learn by doing it!

My '92 GT had a stroked 351w. I used 2 chamber flow masters and they sounded fantastic. 4k RPM was the really sweet spot while cruising.

Nice and raspy for an h-pipe, I’m a believer in the dr gas x-pipe and paired with spin tech sportsman mufflers. They seem to start singing at 2k rpm and scream when you mat the loud pedal.

Just wanted to say thanks for the video. I recently bought a 2004 Lincoln Town Car and was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the exhaust to make the car more me. After watching a ton of videos, especially this one probably 20 times, and hearing different mufflers on the street I decided to go with the Jones Full Boars. Mac is criminally underrated. They sound alot like flows only better and they flow much better than flows theyre one of the best flowing mufflers out of all the traditional catbacks for these cars mm&ff did a muffler shoot out years ago and Mac was among the best flowing and Flowmaster was among the worst.

My 83 rag has bbk shorty equal length, 2.5 exhaust with H, thrush mufflers and turn downs. I wasn't sure how I'd like the thrush mufflers, but they sound great and actually aren't obnoxious.

Awesome channel guys love the content! Also try out Cherry bomb pro series fully welded mufflers! Had them on my fox- bbk long tube 2.5 inch pipe to axle then dump 3.0 inch turn downs angled 45 degrees as to not blow as much dust from under car!

A few years back, after driving my '88 IROC for 30yrs, I put headers (3" collectors) all terminating with a GMMG "muffler." I'm still getting used to the sound. My wife loves it. Nice job with 'stang, guys!

Car sounds great and you did a pretty good job installing the mufflers. The thing I would have done would be to have used a wire brush, a skinny thin one and went around where you're going to weld it just knocking the paint off the width of your weld instead of a grinder. Afterwards I would have painted it back with some kind of high-grade heat resistant paint slow down the rust. Also I would never use the turn down and have the exhaust exiting underneath the car. All those corrosive exhaust fumes going up on the bottom of your car which is going to eat holes in metal overtime. It's going to leak into the interior of your car and you're going to have exhaust fumes in your car whenever you're sitting at a light or anywhere where the car is idling. When you're going down the road it's not a problem it's when you're sitting still with all the windows rolled up. Almost all cars leak a little air from the outside into them. If your exhaust is leaking up in there you're breathing in a lot of carbon monoxide. You need to have them exiting out from under your car preferably out the back. Although some people have them exit out the sides I still don't like that. It's better for your car long-term if the exhaust exits completely out the back. You get a better sound and you don't have corrosive exhaust fumes eating up the undercarriage of the car. More importantly you don't have exhaust fumes leaking up into the cabin where you're breathing in all that exhaust when the car sitting still idling. Just fuel for thought God bless you and your family and you're right you don't have to pay somebody do it yourself and you'll learn something better than you can ever learn it from a book!! I’m gettin pretty darn close to thirty and I have started to like quiet exhausts. I got the cherry bomb turbo mufflers. They sound fantastic, deep deep rumble loud pops and best of all zero rasp. I can beat on my car on back roads and in the city too and won’t alert half the police force doing it either. If you never tried them out before give them a shot. Lovely tone.

Retro Fox sounds Nasty i love it! sounds so much better than the old setup plus you got bigger pipe so that helps but sounds chunky with that B cam too and it's kind of crazy that you can barely hear the calypso it almost sounds like it just has some old school turbo mufflers or something which I know it doesn't but compared to the retro Fox you can fool a lot of people haha great video man I've always wondered how good those would sound I was considering on getting some and you just sealed the deal for me!
