You're music is awesome! I would love to be in your band

You've taken a different path to your musical goals, in a world of copycat sameness you deserve a whole lot of credit for that.

Bought one of these. It’s absolutely brilliant. Blu is awesome but the bass really stands on its own. Has a great tome, fast comfortable neck and super versatile.

That dual Bridge pickup sounds PHAT!!! Wow!

Her choice of pedals had me feeling pretty envious! I dig her playing, glad anytime I see Blu getting some time in the limelight 😊

I didn’t know of Blu before I saw the Fender release video but I really like her playing. As a guitar player it takes a lot to get my attention as a bass player. Mission accomplished 👍

hopefully those two Origin pedals ( cali76 and the BASSRIG) get used and understood more. those two enhance any signal they're a part of. i use 'em both

I love her bass and the way that she plays. Rockstar. 💙 🔥🤘🎸

love the creative burst design! It reminds me of J Mascis' blue glitter and mirror telecaster! Gotta love the stingray pickup, I'd say put in a big wide range for the neck with a cream cover that'd look sick, or another stingray type one

Beautiful bass, and the price point is in line with the country origin where it is produced. Made in Mexico 🇲🇽 has come a long way the past 30 years. I would imagine an American made custom shop version will rise out of this if sales are brisk enough. Good job, Fender!

A Neoprene strap is a must have for heavy basses.

Are these a limited run? Hopefully they are US made basses.

Cool bass but the color of the pickups doesn't match anything and bothers my ocd

Congrats on the signature bass. I wonder if Fender should have released a lower end model instead. Having a female artist like Blu helps Fender reach young girls who want to give bass a try. But not at that price. You know you’re doing well when you have top notch pedals you never touch just because. I gotta ask, how light is the lightest Fender Jazz ever?

Good to see a lightweight fender is on the way. Not a fan of heavy basses.

same with the Twin Jazz pickup in the rear position for a humbucking option. that configuration ain't new either. even as a stock fender option over the last couple decades. but alas. it's all good

I think she's referring specifically to the way it was done by Fender.

I'm somewhere around 1,000 years old and been playing bass for around 900 years. Who cares if she not a gear snob! She obviously spends more time playing than complaining. Listen to her playing, she's absolutely awesome, and she has earned, and deserves her Artist Signature Bass.

@@davejones7475 Bro i never said she couldn't play bass. That being said, she's not anywhere close to bass players like Talk Wilkenfeld

Insane?!! 1500$ plus for a Mexican made?!! Way to spit on your own people. I don’t understand why the make what the artist doesn’t play.
