Damn !! So not only do I own 2 of Matt’s tour basses , we both were at the same shows !! The Who / Clash in 82 and in 96 The Who Quadrophenia tour . I’m just old enough to not know how to @ anyone on here, and don’t know if I’ve ever felt compelled to comment on a post before, but I really want to know @mattfreemansbassbunker’s opinion on PJ configurations considering he’s used both P and J in studio. I did a one show fill in gig guitar/bass tech for The Misfits. Jerry Only brings one Bass on tour. And of course he broke a string banging his fist on the E string. Then Robo had the nerve to get pissed at me for the time it took to change the string. How about you tell Jerry to bring a backup Bass?! Oh and to change the string you have to loosen the skull on the headstock.
