My biggest problem with films like Tarot, is when the CGI monsters show up. It’s SO OBVIOUSLY computer generated, that it not only cheapens the film, but it takes me right out of the experience. Give me PRACTICAL EFFECTS, every.single.time. CGI has its obvious benefits, but you need to know where, and when to add them to your film.

I did go to the theatre for Bikeriders. It wasnt what I expected. I still really enjoyed it though. I plan on picking it up on physical media for sure.

Walmart hit it well with movies and neca figures. i picked up the jigsaw figure. grabbed Abigail, Deer camp 86, boy kills world and the steel book of lair of the white worm.

Sid Haig, I met him at the 2005 Comic Con San Diego. Really cool guy in person he was.

Filled with twisted turns and dead ends that lead further into the back rooms where nightmares and dreams are made and destroyed. Often it will test your soul caliber and your will to live. But here amidst the dust and decay of failure and horrible fates,you will find your destiny. I'm not collecting much. Sometimes the g I Joe classified, sometimes n3ca aliens, sometimes marvel legends crap. Sometimes ultraman. Sometimes Mcfartlane crap. But collecting crap like this is a meet and greet, be careful, determined and courteous. And you will find your path. And crap like that 😂❤

I wouldn't be surprised if Coolduder has 50k--75k films alone in his Library. Such amazing dedication to the hobby! 1 probably have at least 10k films. Why do they still make DVD format movies in 2024? It seems pointless as Blu Ray is inexpensive and much better picture and sound quality. Just about everyone has a Blu Ray player at this point-LoL. It doesn't even make sense to go for DVDs unless it's the ONLY format a movie is available on.

Is VS still worth subscribing to, or has that ship sailed? I am fervantly awaiting their remaster of 'A Chinese Torture Chamber Story 1 & 2', and unless they release another asian movie called 'Succubare' restored in all its glory, I am going to let them go come next year. I want horror and exploitation movies from them, not action and comedy flicks. Leave the Chuck Norris movies to Kino Lorber.
