The Rob Zombie movies not only do not belong with the classic Halloween films, they don't even belong in any noteworthy collection. You can use the Rob Zombie discs as drink coasters, the cases to fix any broken cases you might have and the artwork you can use to wipe your ass in case you run out of toilet paper.

Speaking as an insider in the industry, you are right on the money with your theory about why they did not re-author the discs. More than likely the only reason for this box set's existence is that the various companies had overstock to get rid of and rather than put out their own multi-disc sets, agreed to allow Scream Factory to use their discs for the set. It's unfortunate, but box sets and multi-disc sets are rarely in the interest of fans, but purely a business decision to get rid of unwanted overstock quickly and still make a few bucks. It's certainly a nice looking box set, Scream Factory is one of the good ones who really care about fans. You'd be shocked to know how few labels actually do. I will most likely skip this set. I love the first one, like Season of the Witch a lot and both 2 and H20 are okay. I even think Zombie's Halloween is fun in a trashy, so-bad-it's-good way. But the rest are pretty lousy. Nice, thorough video.

Anchor Bay has set up something where you take a pic of your receipt (they gave out the email address) which you send the pic, your name and mailing address and they are sending out H4 replacements.

Disc 2 in Halloween 1 is not the TV version. Disc 1 is the 35th Anniversary disc and Disc 2 is the original Anchor Bay disc.

The only thing missing on this box set was a commentary on Halloween 4 by the screenwriter that was on one of the earlier Anchor Bay DVD's and it would've been cool if they included the theatrical cuts of Rob Zombie's Halloweens instead of just the director's cuts. Other then that it was pretty complete.

Dude, I'm so glad you are doing new vids, when I first started over a year ago I watch all your videos, then you stop doing them for awhile , last one i watch was your full moon vhs ripoff vids, glad I rediscovered you again, you are the man. I started my youtube page originally collecting horror VHS honestly. I got the entire thriller video big box Elvira collection from craigslist in some random town in FL for around 150, talk about a big score. Keep it up though, love u r doing bluray reviews now
