What Size are those Rice Tyres on the little Ford ??
@boehmfarm42766 жыл бұрын
18.4x26 They are old combine tires. The tires don't sweat at heavy three point loads.
@PaulHigginbothamSr4 ай бұрын
A much faster method to load your manure spreader instead of the tractor front loader is a typical skidsteer on chains over tires. Why? Because with the skid steer you just fill the bucket, don't backup to refill the bucket until dumping in the speader, then backing directly to the pile, scooping, then turning directly to the spreader. A bunch of moves unnecessary with the skid loader with chains over the tires to get a full load in the bucket.
@connorfield61776 жыл бұрын
You should get a skid steer they are so handy they can get in the small places tractors can't

hey Jacob was wondering do you put any off your cows in pasture??????? and what happened to brad ?????? is he ever going to make aperince again ??? it was nice to see the pigs
@boehmfarm42766 жыл бұрын
We bring the pasture to the steers. Brad is building his hog heaven. He should make a channel about his adventures. I'm sure he'll be back for some tillage and hay making.

Jacob i noticed you have a lot of bail strings on the flippers on your manure spreader , would it be better to clean them off to help the spreader through the dung better ? i had that problem and it ended up binding up my spreader after a while and it was a costly repair , just a thought , love your videos , thanks for posting them .
@boehmfarm42766 жыл бұрын
It once was much worse. Finally, I convinced Dad that we should cut the strings off the round bales before we fed them. That made a big difference. I would have to use a sawzall to cut the strings off every year. Now it;s a just a few minutes with a pocket knife.

Boehm Farm is fertilizing first ,second is tillage, 3rd is planting?
@boehmfarm42766 жыл бұрын
Fertilizing depends on the medium, whether it it manure or commercially manufactured. We apply manure before tillage. We apply fertilizer for corn on with the planter, but so farmer will side dress after the corn is germinated.
@smileyclownyloks99496 жыл бұрын
Do you have to put manure and fertilizer in the same field , or only one
