All the wheat cutting happens after the commercial. Bandit has some wheat for us to cut. The cattle will love it.

Just think how much more would have been there to chop had I planted it heaver ? LOL One farmers erosion control is another mans feed for the cows ! 2 bags of seed wheat = 2 wagon loads of green chop for feed, Not bad right ? Worked out good for both of us, I didn't loose soil and you got feed for the cows, Sounds like a win win to me ! Bandit

That was mighty neighborly of you bandit to let him have the wheat for green feed for the cows the world needs more neighbors like you
@banditfarmer19005 жыл бұрын
@@ratrodbubba Well last fall I had this ground all worked up after getting manure hauled in and I needed something on it to keep it from washing out so I planted wheat strips about 20 feet apart to slow the water down coming down the field over the winter and spring. I was not going to cut it for grain because of the wild onion in the field, So I could have cut it up with a disk or let Jacob have it for green chop for the cows to use for feed. Saved me some work and gave him a couple of wagon loads of feed, That's a win for both of us ! LOL This is what farmer used to do to help each other, Now they worry about money more than anything. This is what we did years ago in the farming community , Help one another. Bandit

@@jamisgood21 Like I said in the video I needed a cover crop to hold the ground over the winter and spring . So I could either spend a lot of time disking it up or let Jacob green chop it for feed for his cows . We both got something we needed in the end, Jacob got feed for the cows and I got an easer time disking the ground up. I grew up helping the neighbors and they helped us and this is my way of keeping that idea alive. Bandit

Love the video on top of the silage wagon. And yes these are a couple of great guys. They both have helped me out. Hey Jacob what do you think the feed value of green wheat is? I've heard of it being incorporated into health supplements for him man consumption. Probably pretty good?

Nice video man really enjoy watching your videos you make farming fun 👍 i like how you had the 2+2 green chop now the 1086 it would be cool if you did a green chop with the 1466 then all the internationals would have had a go on the chopper 👍 keep up the nice work. And i subscribed to your channel

Boy you can see the feed color difference. But being whole stem wheat it should all be good feed. My cows loved green wheat with almost popped wheat heads. Had to be careful how much they got.

This is great! Now this is how real farmers collaborate. it's pretty funny because you know it's true because both of you had no time to do unnecessary talking, and for most of it both you guys were working and even on separate projects. I was thinking about that and thought it was quite funny, especially how some of these farming channels claim their such big farmers and then only mow a hay feild smaller than my deer food plot. I am not going to say names but the one I really can't stand is that rocky ledge farmer. Lol farmers like Bandit, northern farmer, O.L.F, and yourself deserve the subscribers other than those fakers. Maybe that's why those great channels I just mentioned are smaller because people dont need unnecessary BS and there's few real people left that actually recognize real.

Nice vid love me some green chop action,could u sell that as whole grain beef lol. Bandits cool
The short hitch to the right of the blower is for transport on the road. It lines the wagon up more with the tractor when the chopper tongue is in the transport position. I didn't use it during chopping except for maybe on the first round to keep the wagon set in to the field further.

Your stack always reminds me of every other 86 series I’ve seen - including mine. I finally did the muffler delete and put on a new stack so it is straight. I wouldn’t recommend it without doors - it sounds like a Detroit diesel at all times. You can’t hear it in the cab with the doors shut but boy the neighbors talk.

Jacob have you ever considered doing a voice over during these types of videos? Listening to the tractor and or the equipment running kinda gets redundant. I'm not a hater, I love your channel and what you've accomplished the last couple of years.
