Bryan, you’ve crafted another great interview with Mr. Pensehstadler’s build! Wow, what an amazing aircraft Mark has created, and taking the extra time and putting together all the fairings to cover the roughly designed transitional areas. I’m betting he’s picking up at least one to two knots of greater speed from these fairings even though he playing them down. Then we look at his paint scheme he managed to get perfect. I won’t hold it against him that he’s former Air Force, and has chose the Blue Angles paint scheme even though I’m former Navy. I couldn’t have produced or picked a better scheme myself. Mark has put together one heck of a Master Piece in my opinion. I’m wondering if Mark has given any thought’s to producing these fairing’s as an after market kit package for the 750 Cruiser or would be willing to license them to a fabrication shop? Great job Bryan for bringing these aircraft to our attention during this rough year. I’m betting Mark was planning on displaying this amazing aircraft at Oshkosh this year. Darn virus! Fly safe and be safe Bryan. Take care..

@John Paul Lafferty Hey! Good to see you here again and again! Thank You for all of you support. That is actually "Mark Pensenstadler with the Cruzer. He did an amazing job (and I am quite picky). I am certain he was looking forward to taking it to OSH2020....but hopefully it will make it out for OSH2021! I thought the same thing, about him making those fiberglass parts, but I think they were "one-off" parts. Thanks for watching! :-)

Experimental Aircraft Channel - sorry for the first name screwup. I even went back to write down Mark’s name and still screwed it up. When I’m thinking about Mike & Mark Patey I have to double check each name before I comment and I will go back and edit my post. Did you happen to catch Peter’s first flight in his Raptor video? Oh scary.. I believe he needs to take that spring system out of his elevator trim because I believe this is causing his oscillations. Peter needs a fixed surface and not one that changes on loads to the surface. He knows he needs to get the temps under control too. He needs help in getting these designs developed. I wish he would take help from people and not just comments. He a brave man for putting himself out on U-Tube during his development. Thanks for letting me know about my screwup!! Dah!!

Hi John, thanks for the compliments on my airplane. Regarding making the fairings and selling them, it's just not possible. Take for example the windshield fairing-it is custom made for my airplane. The builder of these airplanes is responsible for trimming the bottom windshield, and if one builder cuts his slightly different than mine, then the fairing wouldn't fit. Same for the tail fairing. If another builder mounts his horizontal stab 1/8" higher or lower than mine, then the fairing wouldn't fit correctly. The only ones that might be able to made and sold are the fuel sender fairings and the elevator trim wire fairing. But then there's the other problem - these fairings take so much time to make I'd have to charge such a high price to make them that no one would buy them LOL. So really, each one has to be made by the builder and custom fit to his or her aircraft.
@MrWATCHthisWAY
@MrWATCHthisWAY 3 жыл бұрын
Kitplane Enthusiast - Mark thank you for the insight on your fairings. Your explanation makes perfect sense after thinking about a build especially considering the fairings are of a single piece construction. I do love your build Mark but it’s just to bad it can’t reach .8 Mach. Thanks again.

Excellent video Mr. Brian. Love the in-flight review. Kitplane enthusiast just went to the new KZbin Membership deal. Was really enjoying Mark’s video’s. Got to episode 10 and he put it on his YT membership. What a shame. Many folks like myself are trying to scrimp and save for our own A/C. Can’t afford to pay to watch YT videos. Especially when so many content creators in aviation do not utilize YT membership. Patreon was great. If you want to volunteer to support a channel you could. I am all for that. When a content creator decides he wants to join YT membership to make additional funds, they will loose subs for sure. Anyway, keep up the good work Mr. Brian. Love your videos and you have a beautiful family. Truly blessed.

The worship travelers confusion could have been cleared up if he had only asked.. All of my videos, and my whole channel, are completely free and membership will never be required to view my videos as the Worship Traveler is falsely stating. Ep10 that he is referring to was posting for about 10 seconds and then set to “unlisted”. It’s only set to unlisted because Ep8 and Ep9 were not yet posted. I would think a reasonable person could have figured that out when the videos went from Ep7 to Ep10. Ep8 has already been posted, Ep9 will be posted tonight or tomorrow, and then Ep10 will be set to “public” and everyone will be able to view it. I know that KZbin has become the Wild West and people feel like they can say and post anything they want, so I ask that if people are confused, there’s nothing wrong with simply asking a question!

@The Worship Traveler Thank you for watching and engaging here in the comments today. I just went and checked.... I don't see the "MEMBERSHIP" option available on Mark's Channel at this moment. However... I am "Seriously" considering adding that "feature" to my Channel very soon. It will NOT be to see weekly content but more so for either 1) Early Release 2) Behind the Scenes 3) Outtakes or certain "extras." Just like Patreon (at least that is my thoughts for utilizing it). I tried Patreon, but that is just ONE MORE "platform" to manage. Simpler to have everything go through KZbin. But... we will see. Maybe I will do both. But NEVER for YOU to see the weekly episodes and learn about all there is available to you in Aviation! :-) Thank You so very much for your support and feed back. I truly appreciate YOU!

Kitplane Enthusiast first off Mark, let me apologize to you for posting misinformation. It wasn’t my intention at all. Please except my apologies. I have watched your builds from the very beginning. You did talk about utilizing YT membership I believe in episode 7 was it? Then when You posted episode 10, I tried to open it and it said that the video was private. I put 2&2 together and I came up with 5. Totally my mistake and I regret deeply making it. Please understand that there was no malice intended. I can make up excuses like YT has gone nuts with ads, and they have but that would just be BS on my part. I truly truly am sorry for not paying attention to what you said about membership in your vlog and I “assumed” which we all know makes an ass out of, in this case, me and me. Not you. It was very foolish of me to do that even if it wasn’t intended and I only hope you will forgive me for the stupid move I made. Humbly hope to make this right with you. John

@@theworshiptraveler6709 Apology accepted. I'm not sure what you are referring to though regarding me talking about membership. It is not in Ep7, and I don't think in any other episode because honestly, until you mentioned it, I had no idea KZbin even had a members only thing! If you happen to remember which video I talked about membership, please let me know. Otherwise, please enjoy all of the videos - free!

@@ExperimentalAircraftChannel The intercom sound was bad with terrible breath-popping, sibilance, and plosives. It was 5 (loud) but definitely not clear, more like 5x2, not “5x5”. The world is perceived as differences. There is a wide difference in the quality of sound for videos recorded in flight with aviation headsets. Sometimes the Bose headsets sound good in some aircraft and then in others it’s terrible with excessive breath-popping, plosives, and sibilance. It might be an impedance mismatch in the system when the recorder is connected. I suspect that the breath-popping might be minimized with a better placement of the boom microphone. When I started flying in the 1960s Plantronics had excellent aviation headsets with an acoustical tube microphone that was placed at the corner of the mouth and you spoke across it, not into it so it was impossible to have breath-popping and plosives.

I hope he is skipping the N-number call-outs just for this video, "Blue Angels Cruzer" may (mildly) be permissible at a Uni-com but it won't go over well at a controlled airport, this is not a guess but the voice of experience. Nice work on that plane tho, great extra touches and fine craftsmanship.. Impressive.
