Went down by Anderson ferry yesterday. Could find the shad and skipjacks weren’t biting. Finally caught a few 6 inch shad. No bait there , no fish there. Did finally catch a 4 foot gar they do fight

Yes, the bait is very elusive. It’s been out deep now all of a sudden. We also tried to do some Catfishing up there the other day, and it was all gar except the 17 pound blue I got in my throw net 😂

Had some construction here on a main road and it was closed the other morning, so it detoured me down some terrible street, surprised I made it through it. I thought my trailer was gonna break in half and I would end up losing an axle or something. good luck on your next trip
