@SheikTijl its a thing that the blue devils let us do while we watched them practice. They showed us what kind of warmups they did and how they did them, then they played their show, then scott johnson told any drummer that wanted to play with some blue devils drummers in a "jam session" could. I wasnt going to but... My line made me. Haha it was pretty cool to play with some blue devils drummers. The guy that played after me was a BD bass drummer. The guy at the end of the snare line was a BD

bailesie tbh drumming is about expression. If you feel something in the music you play, no matter if anyone else hears it, then go you! I would know, I'm a drummer from my highschool marching bad. I like to mess around on my snare and people don't seem to get what I'm playing. But I know that what I'm playing has rhythm and musical value (mainly cause I'm copying what others have played as practice), and that's all that matters. So good on them for having fun and playing what they want. They are allowed a short time to come up with it and play it, and they're at A LEARNING CAMP! alright, rant over
