Amazing drone footage of the cliffs and sunset 🙏🙏👍🏻

Thank you, I can remember sitting on the edge of those cliffs watching the sunset like it was yesterday. Malta was my kind of island, and it packs a punch with things to do for such a small place. Thanks for watching, Howard!

I went to Malta a few years ago but only stayed in Valletta and a town called Zabbar and a side trip to Mdina, would go again to see more 🙏🙏👌

Thanks Matt, another great episode from your travels. Nice to see the sunset. Also you managed to get your Mavic air up.👍

Thanks you Sir, glad you enjoyed the video! Yes the sunset was spectacular, the clouds cleared just in time. Always good to get the drone up in the air, had been in a restricted zone for most of the day so was pleased to get the opportunity. How you are well?

@@MattWhitingsEurope Thanks Matt, yes all good down here in Cornwall. I have been out flying the air 2, when able. Are you back from Malta yet. I think it's hotter down here.😎

@@thecornishdronie4537 How's it going, my old Mavic Air is still doing me proud but I have been reading up on the MA2 - definitely looks like a likely replacement when the time finally comes! Would you recommend? Yes back from Malta, today was a scorcher wasn't it?

This was fascinating. Really enjoyed hearing about the licensing of boats to go into the grotto and hear about the difference in numbers just 2 years later! Your footage in the water is very good, for me, it's normally all over the place. Inside the grotto as stunning. Loved the little lines of purple at the water height - very pretty! Just such a shame that the experience was rushed with little to no commentary (for you... we got your commentary 👍) are there companies in competition or is that the only 'company' offering tours? You are so brave for sitting on the cliff like that at Dingli - I'd have been too chicken! Sounds like you're off to Morocco tomorrow... Rabat's Medina to be precise 🤣

Thank you, I enjoyed the boat ride but felt it had so much potential to be even better - such a special place! I wish I had more footage from the inside of the grotto but after a couple of snaps on my iPhone we were off again! Still, at least I got to see it! As far as I'm aware all the boats belong to the same company, unless you get a trip from Valletta but then I'm not sure if you get to go inside or not! Ha I tried with the commentary, glad you found the story interesting! Got to the Dingli Cliffs just in time for sunset - and what a sunset it was! Not quite Morocco haha but it's on my list!!

@Matt Whiting's Europe Ah, I bet the lack of competition hasn't helped with the quality of the tours. I thought you did really well with the footage so don't beat yourself up over it! I was in Morocco in 2017 - explored Marrakech and South of it (desert towns, 1 night camping in the dunes and Essaouira) but am eager to get back to visit the towns and cities in the North - I bet you'll love it 🙌

Hey mate where you driving outthere by yourself and how easy is it to drive? Are the cars a right hand steering wheel? Cheers
@MattWhitingsEurope2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sami, yes it was a solo trip so I was all alone. If you're a confident driver then Malta is fairly straight forward to drive, just take your time and if someone is in a hurry behind you then let them pass. Driving is the opposite to most of mainland Europe in that you drive on the left (like in the UK) and therefore you sit on the right side of the car (gear stick on the left of the driver). Parking can be a challenge in busy periods especially around the larger towns but travelling in October I didn't have any issues. I would recommend a car to see parts of the island you otherwise won't be able to get to. Best of luck! Hope that helps.
