So you have a GC now. Nice. I've been wanting to go out with you on trails. I'm the guy in CBus that has the Gold HEMI GC that goes to a MOJO meet like once a year, and I'm always the only WK2. Lol

I live not to far from Blue H but have never been. My daughter and son/in/law have been several times but it just never works out for us to go…. Your Grand C did a good job….

How on earth did you fit 33’s?? I am rocking 32’s (275/65 r18). Been thinking about going up to 33’s but not sure if I need to trim and maybe get some spacers. So curious how you got them to fit so well

They 'fit'....but not well. Rubs the fenders pretty good at full flex. They are 33.4, so large 275/70/18. 1.25" spacers. I'm going to swap to offset wheels at some point. All the people on the facebook groups swore "33s with ZERO issues".....yeah....not so much.

Negative, those got replaced shortly after o got back. 33" Falken Wildpeak RTs. I have been very happy with them so far. (Mods are listed in the description of each video)

@@FearlessTrailhawk they looked more aggressive than the stock but it was hard to tell on mobile and with all the mud. I have RT style tires on my own rig. Pretty big fan of the grip they offer.

I put them on the KL after the last set of Milestars wore down, was happy with how they preformed, so i put them on the WK2. 15k miles so far on them and have had zero complaints!

Finally got it back last week, but am now waiting on a used front CV axle because i threw a cheap aftermarket one in to get it to the dealer. They have sent me a rear twice now. 🤷

Why are you replacing the Chief rock sliders? not happy with them?

They are utter crap. Expensive VERY THIN "high strength steel" that can't handle actual use as a "rock slider".... i'm just hoping the last. Once i get the KL back up and running I'll do a good review/comparison video between them and the RRO on the KL. Two medium trails in Ouray trashed the Chief sliders. That was two weeks after install. All Chief said was "sorry you aren't satisfied".

@@FearlessTrailhawk Understood. I'm using the stock mopar with additional welded on bars, so far so good. Also, have you considered adding spacer lift on top of the QL to clear the 33.4'' tires?

I've thought about just welding some thicker plate to the Chief sliders, because they are super easy to install. Maybe then i'll be able to use a floor jack on them without denting/bending them. I'm gna leave the suspension the way it is, Daily driving with a lift is how the CV's slowly die. I was replacing the CV's every 1.5 years on the KL. Advantage to the QL is zero daily wear/strain on the CV's. (and i've put 18k miles on it in the past 6 months).
