Whats the difference between a stockish Grand Cherokee and a modded Cherokee? Trailhawk Comparison

I really liked the cherokee trailhawk...but... I really like my Grand cherokee trailhawk more. Even with towing removed from the equation, the extra room for my gear is great. Also seats that lay flatter. Looking forward to the next comparison.

Each has its pros and cons for sure, but i think the Grand wins out overall so far.

Usually I think the Grand Cherokees the much better looking vehicle but seeing these 2 side by side I’ve gotta say when you’ve got the Trailhawk package on both the Cherokee looks a bit better imo.

How did you mount the Smittybilt 12k Winch?

@@bakers507 i clocked the motor up, and had to shave a little bit off the condenser corner, also had to use some spacer plates behind the whole bumper to keep the bumper bar from hitting the radiator. Frog Fabs QA seems a bit weak because i had a few fitment issues. But the winch is exactly the same as their 10k, but has different gearing inside.

Rear locker doesnt make much of a difference?

Well the WK2 essentially has the same, in rock mode it presses the clutch discs ect to basically lock the rear, so so far its a mute point, but i haven't done a lot of rock crawling yet to do a full comparison.

I haven't had any trouble getting replacement stuff yet. Though it seems to be a much more supported platform.

Because it has some strengths over the WK2. Its size, selectable mechanical rear locker, and cost to name a few. When i was initially looking i preferred the KL over the WK2, a large factor in that was it was like 12-15k cheaper.
