Thank you Sunil! At CSB, how does Blue line interchange with Yellow work? It seems the two stations are apart by atleast 300m or may be more. Even a walkway would not be so convenient as I may need to change 3 lines between home and work (one phase 2 completes) ! Hopefully they will build travellators (automatic transfer).

@@kanakTheGold yes. Due to lack of space and extensive storm water drains they had to place them apart. Covered Walk way with travellators are planned and will be seemless transfer in the paid area like any other interchanges. That is why you see those H Shaped portals for two level

please check this dashboard done by Maddy. metrotracker.netlify.app/dashboard It has in more detailed including stations. LG stands for Launching girder. AFCONS due to split flyover and split underpass cannot use crane launching since launching angle with load cannot be notified. Hence necessity for using Launching girders where in U girders are transported on the top and launched serially.

do you now what is exactly the issue with procurement of train for yellow line? Won’t there be similar challenge for pink and blue line as well?

So Yellow line Rolling stock tender was won by CRRC Najing Puzen with a condition that 80% of it be made in India and rest imported from their plant in Nanjing. CRRC by then had obtained a site in Sri city Andra pradesh and awarded civil contract for the same. During this the China - India Tussle happened and GOI placed a indirect restriction on any capital inflow from countries which share a border with Us which meant that CRRC could not infuse any more capital to bring in Plant and Machinery and had to be abandoned. Meanwhile BMRCL went to HC of Karnataka claiming delays and there CRRC said they find a local manufacturer who can do the job for them and only 2 ( originally 4 ) would be shipped from China. This local mfg turned out to be Titagarh and seems to be grappling with QA issues since this the first time they are doing Stainless steel coaches ( their pune coaches being Alluminum ) and hence the delay. PInk and Blue line bagged by BEML. Again BEML is a aggregator or parts and assembles. and according to the article from yesterday, seems the propulsion system BEML gets from Mitsubishi may get delayed and hence.Hoping these get sorted.

Bro can you tell me why the pier caps after Agara Station is weird? 19:49 I mean, one side it is wide and another side it is very short. How it will hold the weight of the U-Girder along with a train running on it?

@@Kiran14501 these are eccentric pier caps as against the concentric ones you regularly see. Basically this is done to maintain the pier on the median at curves. If truly pier caps are used then the pier will be located on road carriageway limiting the lanes available . Hence where possible eccentric caps are used . These are tensioned to behave same as other pier caps and if eccentricity is too high then they would go for portal piers

Per me, it is going good. Working on ORR is challenging due to restriction on movement of materials , labourers during the day and during the piling phase night work was stopped on request of residents. In spite of such challenges we have done well so far. Now hoping the finish goes fine.

AFCONS had to use Launching girders since they are dotted with 4 split flyovers and cranes cannot be used due to loading and launch angles. this makes it serial. Hopefully now they finish things up sooner.

Bro... There is news that Iblur design change has not been approved and strating of Blue line might be pushed to 2028. If actually approval is delayed cant they have metro from Kr puram to Bellandur as a short loop

@@vijethkumar6549 no actually got it clarified. Basically Gail gas pipe issue where future iblur station n current off road structures. Also tree permission was pending and got approved lady week in karnataka HC . So work should start sooner
