Just found this in my record collection. I think I've won the lottery. A great band with much missed Herbie Flowers. Bass guitar at it's best.

Such a talented group who had 7 top 20 hits in the early 1970's.

There are bass players and theres herbie flowers. The man was indeed a one of a kind bass players. Herbie had a distinct tone, you knew when it was him that was playing. I was very lucky to see him perform when me and my best mate went to see bryan ferry also alongside the great chris spedding. Herbie has left a lot of musicians sadly heartbroken today. I seriously cannot believe it. Herbie was and always will be my number one favourite player.

A wonderful song from March 1970, reflecting the idealism of the era and the optimism for the new decade ahead. History tells us, however, that the '70s turned out rather differently.

@user-kn8un4ru8p I'm sad to have missed it. But tell me please, wasn't it only Madeline and Roger from the original line up?
@user-kn8un4ru8p6 ай бұрын
@brianmoulton3093 It was the original line up. Madeline called them all to the stage from the audience. THey sang Banner Man and Melting Pot.....
