To add insult to this nonsense, you have Thomas from the Echo waffling apologetics on behalf of Dyche. What on earth do so called experts think they achieve by suggesting that these levels are in any way understandable and acceptable. That no other options at all are on the table? When you hear that tosh it's no surprise that those representing the club on and off the pitch find comfort in assuming a position that involves abject mediocrity. Nevermind the patronising of fans, to whom they have absolutely NO connection though they'd like us to think otherwise. The club is an absolute disgrace as are those in support of this total regression.

Roger spot on, Dyche not an Everton manager but the knife to a gunfight comment changed everything for me, Moyes raised the white flag too many times. Bournemouth manager does do that he sits with his squad on the week and asks, how do we beat these? Dyche asks how can we keep a clean sheet!

So Dave, let's him sack right now. No self respecting Manager would come to the club and risk a relegation on their CV. Maybe Mourhino , we could go for a young unproven manager, very risky. Obramovic backed his managers with money and earned the right to hold them to higher standard. I don't know who guy is, but that's nonsense. I don't like the way we are playing. I think that the new owners won't take the risk unless the results go bad. Moyes won't come back as interim he would be an idiot to do so. Bad news, we are not an attractive club for managers and hence we have Dyche. BTW you talk about standards and Dyche being only goaled keeping us in the Premier, then you talk about doing the same thing with an interim manager. We fd with or without Dyche, so no sane manager would touch us with barge pole.

Nothing sums up the apathy ye mention more than the current clout for Moyes to return as a stop gap to "steady the ship" rather than Mourinho with a war chest and siege mentality to galvanise the opportunity for momentum with the new stadium. Losers mentality. "Plucky little Everton" is back enough under Dyche as it is! We know Moyes will be even worse at this, putting his own PR ahead of the club and managing expectations and pressure on his job. And he hasn't changed in all those years since he ran his conteact down - West Ham had the same turgid football and lowering of expectations only a year ago! Nobody else wants him. Everton, that!
@niallhussey802322 сағат бұрын
Once Moyes is in the door he'd manage expectations to the extent he gaslights the fan base into thinking we couldn't possibly do better than him. Getting him out the door would then be a challenge as we're far "nicer" and nowhere near ruthless enough to boot him like West Ham had the courage to.
