I think this is the year I saw them open for Bon Jovi and I thought they blew BJ off the stage! Their sound was HUGE for just 3 guys. Simply incredible
Imagine a FOH guy that puts zero grease on your voice or guitar and you still sound awesome. That's how great and in-tune Sykes was. Plus he understood that guitar sounds need midrange, a concept which eludes so many other guitarists. That's half his great tone right there. Not to mention that's how loud guitars should be in the mix at every live show.

How many live acts do they (most bands) play a song at a slower temp than on the record? It's the adrenaline rush that does it. Am I wrong?
