I am not 100% sure. I know it’s rumored to be sourced from Bardstown, which owns green river. That could be correct, but I don’t know for sure.

Thanks for sharing the review, Tanner! Confirmed my thoughts that I need to try to find it. I’ve tried the regular Blue Note once, and I enjoyed it. I remember Stuff & Whiskey sharing that they’ve had some variance across different Blue Note Uncut Unfiltered single barrels but that they were all good. If the regular Blue Note goes up against Blantons, where does the Uncut Unfiltered land?

That is a really good question… let me give the bottle a little time and then I can put the uncut unfiltered up against the Blanton’s Straight from the Barrel. That might be good comparison.

Without even watching this video (I will)......... I can agree with you that this is absolutely, without a doubt, a "must have" bourbon. I picked up this bottle in Colorado this summer and I couldn't be more pleased! I'll be seeking more of these.

I got this bottle seelbachs.com you can also try internet wines as well. I have to order them because they are not distributed the VA. Don’t believe NC carries them either. According to Blue Notes website they are only stocked in ~15 states.

Love the BN JJ Uncut Unfiltered picks. Unbelievable taste and unbelievable value for $45. My first was also from Seelbach’s, because not available in my area. It tasted like a Snickerdoodle. I bought another one from Seelbach’s and then was traveling in TN 3 weeks ago, and bought another one. It is so good. 🥃

Dang, I passed on this and grabbed a Saz Rye and Weller SR. It was the first time I had been able to find any allocated stuff and really wanted the Weller for my brother who is turning 21. Figured it would be an awesome intro for him. If I see it again I may have to grab it.

Those are both great bottles too. I agree, the SR as a 21st bday bottle is a great move. Blue Notes are generally a lot easier to find than any of the buffalo trace products. Thanks for watching!
