Great overview of Blue v Red. 👍 Have *_not_* read the book but have discussed the concepts for years. "Looking for untapped markets" is certainly prudent but business success relies on way more than that despite what the authors promote. Product innovation, customer service, channel management, disciplined growth strategies, etc. are usually more important than being first to market. Timing is often everything, eh?

completely agree. sometimes when I read the latest guru book I feel they push their idea as the end all be all when it is in reality a part of a successful strategy, not the end all be all.

The key is getting ppl who didn't spend money and literally just stayed at home and saved. Halal restaurants get them here. They attract those families who ate at home before who now take all their family to eat out.
