Buck is the greatest hard rock guitarist in the US. So inventive and melodic.

This album is right up in my top 3 live albums ever. My buddy's older brother was a musician and I got introduced to them in 1972 as a sophomore in highschool. I can't even guess how many times I have seen them perform now. We listened to one of the first three albums daily or every other day. This was my band though. I love these guys. I appreciate the love you give them.

Most of that is Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser, the criminally underrated lead guitarist since the beginning. Back in the 70s he was rated top 10 guitarist and if anything, has gotten better over the years. Super nice guy!

I've seen them somewhere around 50 to 60 times since 1976, but not since 2007. Their live show is legendary, as they have long been classified by many as a band that sounds better live than on record, but I suppose that really reflects on what one enjoys and values as criteria. Buck's Boogie was a mainstay of their live sets during the 70's and 80's, a rare instrumental from them. Thanks for another fine reaction video.

Hy Chod, saw this tour in 1975 and it was jaw dropping! Donald " Buck Dharma" Roeser is the guitarist and he is the most underrated guitarist ever! He to this is still killing it in his mid seventies. Albert Bouchard is the drummer and his brother Joe is the bass player. In my opinion the most underappreciated band ever. All us BOC fans love them and they are still touring. Thanks for your show and your opinion on the clips your showing.

When was the Black n Blue tour, 80 or 81? They still had the laser show that got shut down. I would have to say the best concert I ever attended, and as much as I love Sabbath, BOC was just phenomenal.

Their concerts were pure bliss. I got to see them 4 times before 1982, and twice after that. I remember seeing them on tour with Black Sabbath (latter 70's). Not many bands could say they blew Sabbath off the stage, but BÖC did. They just sounded so much more powerful and clean.

I've seen them several times, the first being in 1983 at the Worcester Centrum in MA. The Kingston NH fairgrounds in 1997 More recently being the Flying Monkey in Plymouith NH and as well as the Capitol Center in Concord NH. Although the lineup has changed, and their first album celebrated it 50th anniversary two years ago, they still kick ass. If you have a chance to see them live you should absolutely take advantage of that opportunity. They are the worlds biggest underground group.

I was in a band that played this. We loved BOC! Challenging. Both bass and rhythm do that fast note. I play bass and pluck with my fingers and it was killer. Joe Bouchard uses a pick.

BOC never disappoints and this was a vehicle for Buck Dharma to soar, 3 of the 19 times I saw them was in the front row, pressed against the stage, with Buck 3 feet away, sending notes into the cosmos. Utterly amazing band, all 5 original members are super, versatile musicians of the highest order and 4 of them sang and all 5 played guitar! They were right in front of us, just blasting away. Very few bands could do what they did and like other great 70s bands, they play all kinds of great rock songs. Magnificent live album, saw that tour in Waterberry CT right up front, just amazing. Do Hot Rails to Hell live from it, it will melt your face! Definitive live version here, Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎤🎸🎹🎶🔥

Like other geniuses, Buck Dharma was only in his 20s during the recordings on OYFOOYK. Although many of us still wonder why Flaming Telepaths and Astronomy were not on this release, we also felt OYFOOYK most accurately captured the Cult's fury of their black & white era.

The first time I saw BOC was around the same time this album came out, and though I can't remember the entire set, I sure got to see this band play "Buck's Boogie". I suspect the name was a take on Jeff Beck's "Beck's Boogie" which, with this song, are primarily just vehicles for lots of (great) guitar playing. Buck Dharma is a monstrously good player, and the whole band does a damn good job of keeping up!

And this is live. Pure musical skill. The whole album is great. I bought it when I was in the Air Force, stationed in Italy in 1976, and I still listen to it today. This song, and the back-to-back songs of Dominance And Submission, followed by ME262? Great for listening to when working out. Even at 70 years old.

I saw them a dozen times throughout the 70’s, this was a year or so before they released Don’t Fear The Reaper, they were selling out arenas and having bands like KISS, Aerosmith and Rush open for them, plus many more, all on “Cult Power”. I was 15 during this tour, this version of Buck’s Boogie is always top ten on my Spotify. I’ve seen BÖC 156 times, with two more shows scheduled this year.

Rock On man, saw them 19 times from 1972 - 2002, 3 times in the front row, and know exactly why you saw them that many times! One of the greatest live acts ever, and always were on tour. Plus they were studio masters, with many great albums. One of my favorite bands ever, they need to get in the RR HoF before they're no longer with us...

Second time I saw them they opened for Rod Stewart and the Faces at Madison Square Garden Feb 1975 and to this day it was the most exciting set I've ever seen. The audience went wild the place completely lit up but Stewart didn't let them come out for an encore. As long time roadie Sam Judd told me "No one could compete with them live at that point".

Favorite band. Not much repetition in their songwriting. I think that was their problem also because they couldn't be pigeonholed into a specific sound.
