Mine did same thing then it quit completely. I emailed blueparrott customer service it turns out mine was still under one year warranty so they sent me a brand new one and told me to discard the old one. Now I have two if I can fix the old one. Lol. Product not so good because it broke within first year but their customer service and warranty is good. I'm sure they will come up with a better headset when they learn about the problems this one has. I used to be hard core blue tiger customer. They are also good trucker headsets.

Hey thank you for this video. I am trying to diagnose a problem. Mine charged up and I used it for one day (maybe a few calls) and it worked perfectly. Today I picked it up and noticed that the red light was on (solid and not flashing) I haven't been able to connect it with any device. I opened it up thinking it was the same problem but the power switch seems to be okay. It flips up and down but it still work turn off the red light. Has anyone experienced this and were they able to resolve it? I have had this for maybe 3 years used for maybe 6 months and would like to keep them of possible. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi! Thanks for your question 👍! Battery has 2 types of degradation. 1: cycle or number of times it can be charged and discharged 2: calendar limit or in other words it only lasts a limited number of months/years So even though you have not used the headset a lot, the battery still degraded. There are 3 things you can do! First you can try to connect the headset to a computer and do a firmware update and it might have a better BMS software and squeeze a few extra months off the existing battery. Second thing you can try is to use the headset with the wires instead of Bluetooth Third thing is to open up the other side of the headset, see what type of battery cells it uses and change them. It should be written on the battery what type it is. Good luck and let us know how it went!

It should have a micro usb port. I don't remember exactly the location of the port.

If it's just the little external plastic cap you can glue it back together. If it's the switch itself... You might be able to find a tv and radio repair shop that would unglue the old switch and solder in a new one on the PCB. Otherwise... Time to buy a new headset.

Mine wont charge or turn on plug it in just get a solid red light unplug nothing wont turn on replaced battery and still same problem i left it in my truck for about 6 months thinking the heat killed it not sure whats going on its 2 years old so probably just get a new one and take better care with it 😢

It sounds like either your BMS or the battery itself is gone. Since you you get a red light, current is flowing, so the plug is fine not gummed up, but it doesn't know how to charge the battery (Battery Management System) or it can't charge the battery (Battery itself). Either take it to a tv repair shop or buy a new one. I now use a B550 and I don't have problems with it, except the head band is a bit stiff, but I can live with that, just don't wear it all day. @@patrickmitchell100 if the battery was changed, than it's clearly the electronic BMS. Before you buy a new one, try to connect the headset to your phone or a computer by usb cable and see if you can do an update on the firmware. It might not be a fizical problem, it could be the software that manages the BMS. This is the last Hail Mary I would try before either buying a new one or take it to a tv repair shop.

This power switch its super poorly designed. I turned mine on one day used it for a few calls then when I turned it off it wouldn't go off. I opened it and the little stick that goes in the square back part of the power button just snapped off.... So now there is no way to turn it off.... I'm worried if it dies I won't have a way to turn it back on 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

This happened to mine as well, but the power button has no indentation. Maybe a piece broke off and is lost. Once I took it apart I could manually flip the little black switch for power and it worked. But once it is put back together I can get to the switch. Very disappointing considering I paid almost $200 dollars. I also no longer have the receipt.

Mine shorted out had it charging and the charger came in and off now it won't work

Sorry to hear that! If there was a short it's highly probable that some internal electronics are fried. For a job like that you need someone that knows how to repair electronics like tv and cellphone and computer boards. If your headset is less than 1 year old you still have warranty and you could exchange it if not, you will need to buy a new one or find someone who can fix electronics.

Hi Gibril and thanks for your comment. There is a mechanical switch on the pcb, that looks like a metal box with a black plastic strip that is facing out from the ear cup. That plastic is what broke. You can't miss it!
