Zimmer doesn't create music, he creates a feeling, an emotion, a story to be told on it's own, to be discovered. That's what he creates. You are not listening to this because it sounds complex or uses hard techniques, you are listening to this because it is telling you the story of our oceans.

@@nashvilleriveraquinio6432 Musical Complexity is subjective. But I do indeed see your point. The music does have a certain flow that is hard to achieve in a day. (And even harder to achieve on a computer, which is how Hans creates his music :) )

I love how the music feels so strong and powerful, with the might of the ocean coursing through it. Yet at the same time there's an underlying, emotional fragility to it. I know that may sound like bs but the theme is oh so right for the documentary. It's beautiful!

The music alone stirs emotion and without the narration and film content, this music sits well with my connection to the ocean. Its all truly beautifully created. Thank you to all of you. I've found myself watching this video over and over again ever since I've discovered it. It somehow really encapsulates the extremes of the human being. On one hand, we are capable of creating and precisely executing soul-crushingly beautiful music like this. On the other hand, the marine life so amazingly captured in these images is a sobering reminder of our capacity to destroy our very home. We must do way better!
