Yup, wonderful game. I played it about 3 months straight before getting banned. Shame they had to be so closed minded and ban foreigners. I have to wonder how much more profitable the game would've been if they hadn't been banning tons of customers.

Oh well, most MMOs are delayed. Also, I remember about Fate/GO had delayed because they have struggle translate into English until 2 years. And Fate/GO (NA) still got a lot of players. So, Blue Protocol still could be popular no matter if it's still delaying or not. It's all depends on Blue Protocol.

Thank you Brian for having some hopium. Seriously. Thats why i enjoy watching your videos so much. I try to be one of the first to watch and im not usually one to speak up all that much due to the introvert thing. That being said i commented on mmobytes video that you featured in this video (before you dropped this video) because tbh im sick of his constant doom posting. He has some good content sometimes which is why i follow him but lately everything he posts is just doom posting and negativity. If you know anything at all about MMOs, its exactly like you said, people are gonna complain about them a whole bunch at first about lack of content, drop rates etc but they will eventually overcome it. Happened with WOW, FFXIV and many others. FFXIVs 1.0 was reaaaaally rough. The game essentially flopped. Now look at it competing with WOW. If Blizzard can do it with WOW and Square Enix can do it with FFXIV, I strongly fail to see why a big company like Bamco that is notorious for amazing releases like elden ring and such to not be able to turn BP around just like the others. BP feels really good. I also played JP on release as well. Its one of the best games Ive played. Felt smooth, amazing combat and absolutely stunning graphics. I dont see why that BP cant be in the future, one of the big goliaths that compete with WOW or FFXIV. Compared to those dinosaurs, the action combat is an amazing refreshment for MMOs as a whole. All they need to do is revise it a little. If FFXIV can basically spit out a whole new game, so can BP right? Especially if they got a company like Bamco backing it. I highly doubt they are gonna let it fail like that. Theyre already making steps to improve the game and have a whole roadmap for it. If you think they arent trying to improve the game then you clearly have not been paying attention to the game. Ive been following BP religiously for years now. Dont believe me? Watch their livestreams. Anyways, I hope this leaves yall with some hopium as I can say with 100% confidence, they arent giving up. If they release the game now it is doomed to fail because of the already established goliaths aka WOW and FFXIV big releases. Give it time. Thanks again Brian for everything you do. I greatly appreciate the hard work and the insight to the game dev world.

This is by far my most anticipated title that I’m waiting on. When I played JP it was just as good as I thought it was gonna be and can only get better from there with so little content. I want this game to succeed so badly it hurts. We just need to have hope and faith in the game and the process.

I've always wanted an anime-aesthetic MMO that I can sink my teeth into. For more than half my life. So maybe I am huffing up on the hopium here but I am still eagerly awaiting a global release. played blue protocol jp i think the game really looks good and what makes it unique from other MMO is how the dungeon runs are i think its the best 3d anime mmo i played just based on dungeons i really dont know why they delay the release so much i think the game is more than complete and it will blow on global and asia servers they might actually get their loss from releasing it global now

MMOs differ from single-player games. Despite having to create a significant amount of content at the outset, MMOs must consistently deliver new content. If Elden Ring were an MMO, its creators would have had to develop twice as much content for day one and future updates to put it into perspective.😅😅😅

Personally don't see bp along side 3 Gundam titles and think hmmm it's gotta be bp causing money issues. Bp currently is top notch, the seasons are banging out hard. If there's a money problem it's the cost of rose orbs lol. The Dev streams are rolling out regularly, the game is being invested in. I don't want to be that guy but...Maybe if you actually launched it, you would still have a player base.. It's one thing if you can't hold up to your promises but ffs...Say so...We aren't so cruel to abandon you once we see you don't make money, we all can feel that. If you would have actually told us and kept is in the loop, maybe you wouldn't have lost such amounts of interest. Personally, i will support the game because it's fun and yes, I got banned from jp cause I played in another country but I enjoyed it regardless. And the game is impeccable, f2p and super friendly... It's such a shame

Kind of a choice for Namco at this point between stepping away from the project or actually putting their remaining chips into it. I'd prefer they choose to do the latter... obviously. Byte seems pretty into the game too. I didn't know that about him, though I did see his video pop up about being pretty down about the recent MMO scene, so I'm not surprised to see him commenting on that here.

As a JP Blue Protocol player all I can say is that Blue Protocol is amazing. Notice that the majority of the “issues” with the game is that people outside of Japan can’t play it. Doesn’t seem like an “issue” to me, seems like it’s what was intended. As you mentioned, if this was all about the financials, they wouldn’t have mass banned every non Japanese player that attempted to play and pay….financial is not the reason it hasn’t released globally. Which was MMOBYTES whole talking point

You should watch the other video. A JP player spent over 2k hours and says the game is bugged since launch, 2.5 stars on playstation, and more. The problem with BP has nothing to do with amazon. The game looks pretty, but the gameplay sucks
