Fun fact: How WAR did rain was actually pretty simple, no need to import particles, you just need a func_precipitation brush, and it'd cause the rain or whatever you want in that desired volume of area. (I've tested it before)

Technically I did import particles from another game, as I'm using the INFRA rain particles.

that was just a cheap call back gag to the end of the last WAR map i played, i did start the map to test it would load saw the rain and restarted to record so i guess yeah you can say that was planned, usually i just say whatever comes to mind usually rubbish from watching to much tv/movies/cartoons :D Thanks for watching

I just had a theory about the emancipation grills... What if it's not actually the emancipation grill that vaporizes the equipment, but rather the grill is merely a detection mechanism and the objects are vaporized via a remote self-destruct mechanism? Probably not, but it would probably explain GLaDOS' ability to remotely fizzle companion cubes
