Your arrangement fits the lyrics perfectly and your plaintive vocals are sweet and spot on as well! Really dig those walking bass lines. Wow! Just that thing you do at the start blows me away. What an absolutely whimsical sounding song, and performance! I want my guitalele to sound like that! Absolutely right. I tend to gravitate to whimsical songs for sure. Maybe not to Wendy’s caliber on that stuff but I definitely prefer something off the beaten path as it were. Thanks for your very kind comments. I learned how to play this tune from another excellent YT tutorial which was super helpful. I think I changed it up a bit though.
