You really don't to dive with Blue Sharks - As the video shows, they're more inquisitive about what you are than any kind of dangerous beast. I've dived with Blue Sharks in the Azores and it was, without doubt, one of the best experiences of my life - No cages involved. I'm not sure, though, that handling them like is shown in some of the video is very sensible - They are wild animals after all and deserve to be treated as such.

Perhaps it is because we as Animals haven't evolve to fear space unlike the oceans where we have been around since animal life began? idk such spit balling here

Awesome video, and yet proves another reason why I am grateful to be a diver. They really are weirded out by our presence in the water, but it's better that they are weirded out than confused and attacking on the surface (surfers are typically shark-bait because they confuse the sharks and have the same silhouette as seals).

I agree with you good sir, their beautiful and such amazing creatures. Their not monster's at all, their one of mother earth's creatures. Creatures that have lived for millions of years, An have evolved over the ages. All have their own personalities and characteristics, their an absolute joy to study and watch. I remember as a child being absolutely in love with theses creatures, I got to see them in London. I was absolutely breathtaking by theses Animal's, I had a blue shark swim right up to my face. I'm telling you my jaw almost dropped off from pure excitement, I couldn't believe I was seeing them so close up. No I have never gone swimming with them, But I can see the joy in doing such things. I love how you respected them and was gentle towards them, still keeping in mind what they are capable of.

@megaragegaming7229 жыл бұрын
BlueWorldTV I do know there are some marine biologists around here that know good times to see some horseshoe crabs. It would be around this type of year, late Spring and Summer would be your best bet. However in 7th grade I did a Science project on Narraganset Bay, and brought in the shell of a horseshoe crab and that was around Fall-Winter time. I am unaware of when the tide will be right, if you could get in contact with a marine biologist that could help you out.
@megaragegaming7229 жыл бұрын
BlueWorldTV Also, I encountered what I thought to be a horseshoe crab 2 years ago, I was at the beach in Narraganset and something pierced my foot on the sand below. I could not see, as the RI shores are very murky. It did not bleed, but it hurt like heck, haha. Any ideas what it could be?

Orcas don't harm humans Jonathan. No need to worry unless they are starving.
@kyleenglot91848 жыл бұрын
No orcas really aren't a threat to humans. Orcas are quite particular with the prey that they hunt. And not every group hunt the same things. Some hunt seals, penguins, and sometimes other whales, while others are strictly fish eaters like the resident orcas off the Pacific Northwest in North America who specialize in hunting salmon. The taste for warm blooded mammals seems to have been removed from their genes if anything. Compared to transient orcas that inhabit the same waters as resident orcas physically they are somewhat different. Particularly the shape of the dorsal fins on females. Transient orcas tend to have a sharper point at the tip. Whereas the resident orcas have the tip go into a slight curve kind of like a butter knife. Also the grey/white saddle patches are different between the two groups. Transients are usually solid white or grey, whereas the residents seem to have more of a faded and often split by black lines... Slight things that aren't always noticed by an untrained eye... But if you're unsure you can usually tell because resident orcas usually travel with more members than transients. Typically transient orcas travel with no more than 5 or 6 individuals. Residents can be seen with quite a lot more, and sometimes when they have "reunions" there can be as many as 50 of them in a single group. After they return from splitting off to forage for fish.
