Thanks for adding pellets *during* the fire, hoping to see that. Most people wait for it to die down before adding pellets and it smokes like hell until up to temp.

Yes it seems you have to constantly feed it pellets while its burning. Thanks for your comment and watching.

Excellent review. I have the same one. I really like this fire pit. Very cheap compared to a Solo Stove.

Use cheap hand sanitizer to get the pellets going. Works every time. Plus you can clean your hands afterwards.

I got one and its amazing. I got the biggest one they sell so it goes through a bit more pellets but it is a huge fire.

Thanks for watching, they really are the ticket for not dealing with wood, but I have found that sticks and small pieces do burn good in mine.

Nice video, appreciate the burn test with how many pellets pound wise and how long a burn time, also what happens with to many pellets at one time smoke wise. Superbly done.

you can get them with your favorite sports team logo at Home Depot for $85 in my area pellets = $6 for 50# so much better than small bundle firewood for $6

How often did you add pellets? Looked at reviews and some people complained you had to babysit it. Curious. It looks like something we might like for camping trips. Thanks! Enjoyed your review.

normally I use a 12 ounce plastic cup to add the pellets. 1 cup about every 5 to 8 minutes, it depends on how its burning mostly to when you add the pellets. thanks for asking.

I have one and that's the biggest drawback - constantly feeding it a small amount of pellets every 5 mins. And longer and the fire goes out. And adding too many at once creates the biggest party-pooping smoke plumes you ever witness. The pit is mostly smokeless, but when it smokes, oh boy.... I haven't really found a good approach to keeping the fire going for a long time without babysitting it.

I bought the small one from Amazon. Country property always breezy. Full flame, wind keep blowing it out. What is the use of having it if I have to put a wind screen around it. Will be sending it back.
