Thank you for a very enjoyable season. I’m a 75 year Carlton member. Have seen 8 flags, so an old bugger. My immigrant father a refugee after WW2, worked at the queen vic markets on Saturday morning and then took me to every game from there. That was my childhood. Because he wanted to embrace this country and he loved sport and wanted Me to fit in… and then we fell in love with Carlton. Now I go to the football when I can with my grand children and soon great grand children. They are all dyed in the wool Blueboys and girls. Now I’m 86 and listening to podcasts with you, Terry. What a life. Thank you I love it. Kali nichta. Cheers, Tommy 💙

They were great, those Ontime interviews. Gave a real insight into the whole club. I for one, am really proud to be a member of a club, chasing the ultimate in professionalism and success. You can see that everyone is working really hard to drive the standards and stay on the same page for a long long time. Really exciting times ahead, I think.

Thanks for another great year of content. So many things to think about. Enjoy Christmas with your family, and a well-deserved break. One final mini-rant: The Process vs Outcome debate is very muddled here. Stats are a form of outcome, but I would have thought not the important outcome this should be all about. But how do you know your process is the right one? Because it produces the desired outcome. Voss gets there eventually: winning the flag. So this BS about not worrying about the outcome needs to stop. Or let's clear up the definition of terms. Agree with Voss that stat targets aren't necessarily the outcome to focus on, as so many stats are often context-based and can be BS if thrown around outside of that. Leave that for Supercoach or whatever, where stats make the outcome. But again, the only way you can judge if your process is correct or if the process is going correctly is if you get Ws. Voss briefly mentioned players have to produce at the level the process requires, so stats are part of that but the focus here is on the context in which the stats are produced. That's a good perspective. Love that Voss brought up the 2023 season turnaround. He knows the process was working than. Now I want to know why they went away from that process later in the 2024 season, and what it's going to look like in 2025. Everyone says they're over it and don't want to go back to it, but being over it or not isn't the point. Learn what went right and what went wrong with the process and how that applies to 2025. Silly to act as if that doesn't matter. All done. Onwards and upwards. PS: I'm afraid shipping for that keychain will probably cost you almost as much as my membership fee.

Thank you for your always insightful contributions mate. I loved the part where Voss mentioned that preparation is all ultimately for grand final day. I too found it interesting when he reflected on sticking to the process in 2023 yet in 2024 the process did in fact change.

With process though, then the outcome happens. Isn't that what Vossy's trying to say?

Voss has escaped scrutiny! 1. 2022 unable to win one of our last 4 games to make finals. Turned 8-2 into 4-8. Process/outcome Fail! 2. 2023 lost 8 out of 9 games (only beating WCE). Came home strong but we should never have been in this situation to start with. Process/outcome Fail! 3. 2024 lost 6 out of last 8 games (only beating Roos and WCE) to fall into the finals. Process/outcome Fail! Voss’s coaching shows an inconsistency and an inability to grind out games.
