The crazy flying the Blue Angels did with the F-4 was unbelieveable. My more took me to see them in 1972 in KC when I was a kid. The Blues were bigger that life. Eventually led me to join the Navy, flew EA-6Bs.

The Angels flew early build F4Js'. They had the old J-79-8 engines. They first F4J (buno. 153071) was used by the Blue Angels.

F 4 was so impressive. Say the T birds when they had F 4s in 73'

Their flight leader st that time was Capt Hall who was the last Naval aviator shot down in Nam.
