I've been treating my oscars for external parasites. They started showing other signs like white stringing poop, sunken belly, and spitting out food. Even since I started treating them the mucus has went away and they are getting more active. Started treating them July 5, and it's been about week now. I've taken out the cartridges in my filter and started treating the water with Coppersafe. I am also feeding them once a day with MetroPlex, Focus, and Garlic Guard mixed in their food. I'm going to do this for a month, hopefully I'll get good results.

Please help me.. I changed 50 percent of water and my 2 oscars got so stressed that they didn't eat for 2 days and is completely inactive.. I thought it would be for the ammonia spike and again changed 50 percent of the water.. Then the situation got more worse.. they seem to be dying.. I applied blue liquid and metrogyl 500 and gave salt and thermostat to the aquarium but nothing is getting better.. When I was buying then it was completely good so I brought it but when I was coming from my cycle so may be it cause shock to it when I came to my home maintain the temperature then I added it to a plastic tub almost 12 letre but it doesn't have a oxygen pipe I think it was lying bottom because of sand and rocks but I changed all the water then I added it I asked from the fish owner that does it live in plastic tub,does it eat pallets, does it can live alone he told yes. Sadly, Oscar passed away by evening despite the steps taken. Till yesterday, it was the most active and most responsive to me. It's hard to believe how within a day, it is no more. parrot is now back in tank. We weren't informed by the shop that these two would need a much bigger size tank to fit in, they were in fact suggesting us to buy and put 8 fish in the medium size tank we bought. As you know you did a very big mistake by changing 100% water. Now give your oscar some time to get recover from this water shock. It might take a week or so. Till that time try feeding your flowerhorn.

Hi, i'd like to ask for help with my oscar fish. He's 3 1/2 years old now and is usually very active and swims around the tank but now he is just sitting at the bottom of the tank but he's not laying down and comes up to eat when I knock on the glass. I think it's because of stress because we have 2 toddlers over our house for vacation and is frequently watching TV which is above his tank on a wall. One is interested in the fish and will often bang on the tank startling him so we put a barrier but she(toddler) is still coming near the tank very often. I dont think it's because of the water because I just changed it and cleaned my waterfall filter the other day and the water looks pretty clear. What should I do to get rid of the stress? 😢

I have been keeping Arowana(8inch-1piece) and oscar(5inch-4 pieces) are in same tank from last two weeks. I am actually confused with food habits. Arowana only eats live feeder fish and doesn't taking pallets. Oscars eats both pallets and feeder fish. Hello need urgent help. Got a new tank with heater, filter. Its 1.5 ft , 40 litres tank. Got a pair of baby oscars and yellow cichlids. In 2 days baby cichlids died this morning. I put ro water in the tank. And oscars have been trying to jump out of water now and then. I changed 50% water as per your videos but that didn't help. I went to local fish store and he suggested to put Chlorinator and Some salt in separate water bucket for now. These fishes have been the same way since Friday night and are not moving or responding at all. I am worried that they might also be gone like the cichlids. Could you please suggest what can be done

Hello my 8yr old red Oscar had heximita on its forehead but I was able to cure it, but after a few months he started to get a flesh eating disease on his nostril area, that I cant seem to cure with the heximita meds,so I was wondering if you might have an idea on what could this disease be and if I should keep treating it like heximita disease ?

Hey blue aquatics i commented you 6 days ago about my Oscar fish... I have one albino and one red chilli Oscar and they both are pair... I told you about that they are having fin rot since 1 to 2 months... But i noticed that using every technique their fins are still black and white from back... So i researched it on KZbin for more information and i found that maany of albino and red chilli are having same type... So i want to ask you that is it normal to them or are they really facing some problem... Because they are very active, they eat well, they play also... Can't see any changes in their health just their fins are black and white... So please if you are also having albino or red chilli please tell me that what is that... 🙏

This color denotes that your Oscars are growing. When their body gets big, the new color is white and black. So don't worry about this

My oscar the same size as yours. Not laying down, but incline and not moving, not taking food and the color immediately changed to black from its orginal color of yellow. I think it could be due to not changing water or over feeding of dried shrimps. Am i correct? How i can recover him? Please help.
