This is part 3 of the build, moving on to the finishing stages.
We start on priming stages, which dictates what livery or paint will be applied to the carriage.
Having chosen the Mahogany livery lined in gold, with red shaded letters and numbers.
Using pheonix precision paints Mahogany P988.
Then moving on to lining using a Gel a bit unusual but this method was picked up from an LBSCR circle modellers digest and works well!
Then we move on to transfers, purchased years ago from the LBSCR Circle, now I believe they are now available from EB Models in 4mm.

Adding passengers to fill the carriage always helps rather than your locomotive pulling empty carriages on your layout.
Then the topping off, attaching the roof, using either double sided tape or araldite / epoxy, using elastic bands and thick card.

A minor observation, the underframe has a vacuum brake cylinder, the Brighton was an airbraked line.

Garth Hentley You have an eye for detail! In part 1 we were told it is a model of a preserved coach, hence vacuum brakes.

Inspiring, definitely need to have a go myself with some LSWR coaches. When did you apply the thinners to the paint btw? Also, what varnish did you use? Gloss? Looking forward to seeing it running!

Brush is damp with thinners and only a small amount paint on the brush. Vallejo spray resin acrylic resin. I use satin but can use gloss.
