Hey man college grad on euphonium here. Don't get discouraged. Keep on the grind. You're doing exactly the right thing practicing it slow like that before you try it fast. In general on some of your fatter lower notes I would try to remember to open up your mouth and throat to get some more resonance. For the high notes try not to pinch them out so much. Try to think about focusing your air into the center of the mouthpiece. Make your air column as thin as a pencil. Just a couple thoughts. This piece is incredibly challenging so keep up the great work. It comes with time.

You know I forgot to empty the water before I playing as well. I should’ve used the mouthpiece that came with THIS euphonium, I’m using my trombone’s mouthpiece and I just can’t be bothered to change the mouthpiece using just one. All three of them are interchangeable, including my bass trombone that I hardly even use.

Thanks buddy! 😊 I DO try! I should’ve used the mouthpiece that came WITH this euphonium but I can’t be bothered to do that! And normally I play my trombone more often than my euphonium and I hardly ever play my bass trombone.

why do you use 2 for high G, shouldn't it be 1 and 2?

@@mrwizzardknight When you play high G, three lines on top of the bass clef stave, you pressed the second valve. I was wondering isn't that note supposed to be played with the first and second valve or it will go out of tune?
