Hey Parnell! I love blueberry desserts and this one looks fabulous my Friend! I love how it has the soft element of the dumplings inside plus the more crispy crust on top! Best of both worlds! I always love your tip about adding fresh lemon juice to fruits. Great job my Friend.

Hi Chef Parnell, One of my favorite fruits and food is blueberry and this is definitely a recipe I would love. And that magic touch of lemon, yummy!😊 I will be very happy to make this…you make everything look so easy and give one the self confidence to go ahead and give it a try. For an extra added taste goodness, I’d love a side scoop of vanilla ice cream. Another winner in my books. Thank you so very much. I always appreciate your recipes. Have a fantastic and blessed week. Ok forward to seeing you next Monday.

Hi, Kathy! If you like blueberries, then you definitely have to make this cobbler. It is absolutely incredible. One of the best cobblers I've made in a long time--and you know that I'm the "cobbler king," so that's saying a lot. And yes, some vanilla ice cream would be great with this! I'm glad my videos give you the confidence to give the recipes a try--that's my goal--and this recipe is without a doubt one you need to try. Thanks for watching and commenting as always! 🥧👨🍳

Wild blueberries require more sugar than store bought. I've made pies with both.

Thank you for the suggestion! If I make this recipe with regular blueberries, I will cut the sugar by a few Tablespoons, maybe? What would you suggest? 👨🍳
@tlt61 Жыл бұрын
Generally, I would use 1/2 cup sugar with store blueberries. Wild blueberries require more than that, maybe an add'l 1/4 - 1/2 cup for them like you did. My mistake was using only a 1/2 cup for wild and it was too tart, needed more sugar.@@ParnellTheChef

@@tlt61 Thank you sharing your experience. If I use regular blueberries, I will drop the sugar down to 1/2 cup. Even though your wild blueberry cobbler was a bit tart, I'm sure it was still delicious!
