I made the lemon curd from another video, then spread it over the crust. Then I added my blueberries. This combo was to die for! The crust was awesome, too.

Thank you for posting, first of all I don’t cook and I wanted to enter a pie competition at work for pies and I won thanks to this video. It was perfect. I was looking for a cherry pie recipe and This came into my feed. I watched it like three times until I thought, yeah, I can do this! In the end, I made a cherry almond And a banana nut with honey. The crust is Outstanding (can't say it enough!) It was light, tender, flakey and buttery. I will use this as my new pastry "go-to". Thanks Chef John!

I made this galette for company last night and it was a huge success. I had not had much luck in the past with galettes, but this one has the ingredients just right. I don't have a Cuisinart. I just cut the butter into the flour mixture with a pastry cutter. That worked great. I ended up cooking it for about 10 minutes longer than directed as my crust wasn't brown enough after 25. Also, the filling was not runny, which has been an issue for me in the past. It all went very smoothly and it is a very easy recipe to use!

....today, baked a multi-berry Gal using frozen fruit; added some cinnamon; it did not look as pretty as yours, however, it was delicious; actually used my food processor to make the pastry dough (first time) and there is no going back to doing it by hand. Thank you, John.
