Little bit of topical humor for that period of time too. That's when military waterboarding was getting a lot of attention. There were quite a few dipshits going on TV and rolling their eyes at the controversy and a couple of them even offered to get boarded as a demonstration. I don't know shit about it but I don't underestimate how devastating some our "light torture" techniques can be. Sleep deprivation and noise torture also don't seem so bad to an outsider but unless your rolling tits on MDMA, it's pretty rough.

I'm actually glad that in the later Seasons we got to see her Flex her stuff and prove that she really does have the skills to pay the bills. And we can never forget the most important thing that she can teach any of us "always remember where all the exits are no matter what or where" that's the first thing she told her son when he became a spy

I think its that it threw away all of the growth from archer last season, remember how he decided not to cheat on Lanna with his ex and the really nice speech he tells her. That is totally thrown away for the new love interest, not only that but remember how he decided to originally cover up for her and throw Lanna under the bus. The best moments of the seasons are the ones that dont includecher.
