I see that you are partial to apricot/peach/orange tones. I am too. I don’t think I can give a top favorite rose but Jude the Obscure is in the top 5 for sure along with Madame Alfred Carriere, Mrs B.R. Cant, Zephirine Drouhin, and Graham Thomas. Like Jude the Obscure, Graham Thomas is by David Austin. Also like you, fragrance is suuuuper important to me. It is almost a requirement, although like you, I have made an exception for Eden cuz she is just so pretty. I bet if she smelled good she’d be in my top 5. We have a lot of varieties in common: The Impressionist, Princess Charlene de Monaco, Jude the Obscure, Eden, and others. I have Crown Princess Margareta on order. I do love the apricot & peach tones I just think they are so beautiful. You are right it is so hard to pick favorites. I like different roses for different reasons. Jude the Obscure is one of my all times though. I have plans for a new expanded rose garden this spring, so stay tuned ;) 💚 -Cara

Stunning flower beds, Cara! Front porch swing would be amazing at any time of the day for a tea break or respite! I had roses at my last place, favourite was one called “sunrise “. It was orange in the middle, faded to peach, then yellow on the outside. Very prolific, and quite large blossoms.

What a beautiful collection of roses! I love that they bloom all summer long! All my roses except my Rosa rugosa's are June bloomers. I am sure sitting on your porch in the evenings is so pleasant lovely with the scent of rose's in the air. 💖💖💖

My favorite rose is the Blue Girl. The color is a silvery bluish lavender. It's scent is so intoxicating and strong. It isn't the cupped peony shape, but still a stunner. Thank you for showing an update of your beautiful roses.

I LOVE my Sunbelt Savannah by Kordes. She does not mind heat, humidity, blazing sun. She is always fragrant. Amazing cut and bring inside. Her bloom stages are beautiful start to finish. Have you seen this one?

My favorite rose is one I could grow 🙄 I didn't get the rose thumb my great aunt had... since I inherited her house, I still have wild roses she tended at a back window... but they need some TLC. Your roses are amazingly beautiful 🤗❤️

Bring me Sunshine was the best performer in my garden this year (UK) with around 100 flowers! It was named after the famous UK comedy due ' Morecambe & Wise' (their signature song)

Thank you Emily 💚 I think the biggest thing is healthy soil. I add compost and organic fertilizers to my soil. The japanese beetles make them look rough for a few weeks, but then they perk back up in the fall. 😊

Ohhh perhaps! Heirloom roses website says julia child is a light fragrance and my yellow bush is definitely really strongly fragrant though.

Thankfully they leave them alone. We have two dogs so I think that helps keep them away from the house. Hopefully that stays true. 😊
