Welcome to the Blue Cactus Dairy Goat Ranch! We breed show quality Nigerian Dwarf Goats. We currently have a herd of 25 does and 6 bucks. Our herd is rotationally grazed on our 11 acre homestead in Arizona. We make cheese and soap from the milk we get and we also raise
Kunekune Pigs, Muscovy Ducks and Chickens. We also keep a large garden year round!

Somebody asked if Lodi was related to Legend? Well yea! Their names both start with L! 😂 For anyone who doesn't know, she names the babies after the mommas, keeping the first letter of their name. All goats started with L can be traced back to Lacy. All goats with M can be traced back to May. All the others are likely mother/daughter/son like Elsa and Everest or siblings like Roxy and Ruby. The only one who doesn't follow this rule is Champ, he's not related to Cami but he is Cassie's father.

Its so wonderful. There is only 6 weeks till kidding season starts for us. I did lose our old girl, then her herd mate the next day went into Premature labor and delivered two dead kids of course bc she was due 3-2. Now she is retired. Doing better also. Thank you for sharing.

I love chickens so cute but of course the one meat I eat the most,your son sounded so enthused whennnyou asked him aren't you glad/or excited the pig area was almost don't or whatever monotone yes, lol look at your babies all grown up. we are on kid-watch right now. Our LaMancha has deep indents on each side of her tail; hollows in front of hipbones; udder is FULL. She's so wide that she brushes both sides of her stall door. I check her 3 times a day and she's always just chillin unless she's demanding a cookie ! The suspense is killing me .
