I own a 2023 Rogue. From an existing owner I can recommend the best way to smooth out the rear suspension, is to BUY Indian's piggy back shocks. Adds an inch of travel, and your bike will no longer "bottom" when hitting average to large bumps. I've made several other changes to my bike, but the piggybacks are THE best upgrade I made.

I am considering this but can't decide on Indian Piggyback's vs Fox.

@@jmejias12did you figure it out already? I’m on the same boat.

@BURNTKNIGHT23 I haven't purchased yet but I've narrowed down my options to the Fox or Ohlins. They're definitely asking premium for them but seem like the 2 best options out there.

@BURNTKNIGHT23 Ended getting the Fox Indian Shocks. Expensive but make a world of difference.

I HATED bottoming out on hard bumps. I had to tighten mine way up from the factory. Now the ride is much better, more road connection, better cornering and no more bottoming out. So tread lightly before loosening it up too much!

The best way I found to adjust the shocks is sitting on the bike backwards

does it improve ground clearance ?

Most reviews complain about the rear suspension but mine didn't break in until about 5k miles.

Have you played with the tire pressures as well?

Tip number 1 log onto the internet to ohlins shocks and place order. Best decision I ever made. Motorcycle handles and rides 100 times better.

When I first got mine the shocks were so dang stiff. Loosened it up and it’s ten times better.
@alexramos-x3k2 ай бұрын
I am 250lbs+ had to make it stiffer if I didn't want to be kicked in the air with any small bumps on the road. .

Did this bike run pretty smooth for you right away? I weigh roughly the same as you and I'm contemplating getting one of these but my concern is the rear suspension killing me.

cant you just put better shock that can give you a better ride
@bluecollaroutdoors55569 ай бұрын
Yea for around $800 to $1000
@MrPoliarinis9 ай бұрын
Well yes, but 1000-1500 euros for that is too much. Other thing that other shocks isnt worth it because angle itself is not optimal... so yes it will be better a bit, but not a game changer

You decrease the shock travel when you thread up. You increase the shock travel when you thread down.
@greenshield15 ай бұрын
That's what I was thinking.

Its pre load, ypure backwards. The less threads showing up top, the more suspension travep

its a lot stiff, rides like sh-t. I like the bike but the ride from the factory setting sucks
