Great to see this gun out again. I had mine out yesterday to check zero and my AT3 looked like a disco strobe. Never got to shoot it. Mine though loves salt creek 10 s through the anaconda striker. They really are a pretty good gun.

@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I can only get the 560 to handle 1 5/8 s Jake shoots a hell of a pattern with 9sx9.5 that I hand load but my CBT shoots everything pretty well and loves 1 3/4 7/8 and 2oz loads

Love the 320 tests as I’ve got one lol. I’m going to look into that 560. I’ve got the crusher and it has not performed well with what I’ve put through it. However the stock choke is pretty damn good. The Carlsons 575 gave a fantastic hunting pattern and hot core. Still looking for that elusive tight wad. 😂

@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA The stock choke gave me 260 in a 10” with Herters 9’s , Carson’s .575-290 and Carlsons .555 - 296. I’m going to buy some good hand loads next. I used your code at meadowcrreek and got a kingslayer green circle dot. Big improvement over the bead. Have you ever done a ported vs non-ported test?

@brockgranger1004 yes we’ve done tons of tests with both With tss it’s not about being ported or unported it’s about constriction range from all of our testing tons of ported chokes hammer when the shot sizes match the constriction just the same with unported We don’t believe the porting or unporting really matters with tss or new shells nowadays

The avian crusher is in Win 20g thread pattern? I want to try it out of my Steven’s 301. Just bought the 20ga 301 50th NWTF version. It comes with a thumbhole, super cool for a break action.

One thing I have noticed with the tss loads is inconsistency in the overall pattern. I just started paying attention to it this past season and have talked with a fellow hunter and he has seen the same thing. This maybe happening with lead along with htl loads too over the years, I just never paid that close of attention before. Do you ever see that in patterns back to back out of same gun, shooting the same shell, and out of the same choke?

Well yes the pattern is going to vary from shell to shell to shell they are all handloaded it will be more precise than mass produced but regardless they will all be a tad different

I can tell you I’ve only shot Herters TSS in my 320 and on 2 separate shots from different boxes of ammo with the same choke it netted 260 & 261 pellets in a 10” circle at 40. That being said the overall pattern might differ slightly but the cores were similar and very close to the same position in my opinion.
